請問各位如校車在觀塘上車要幾點鐘上車和落車?幾多錢校車?請問學校英文佔幾多%.主要科目有邊幾科用英文教?每天有無功課?如有功課有幾多?學校是否雙班主任制.其中一個班主任是否一定是外籍老師呢?

培橋是我好喜歡的學校之一.因現正幫囡找學校.見你們又讀得好開心.所以希望有媽咪答到我這些問題.好等我對學校加深認識.thanks

By the way, I've discovered a meaningful message from their Pui Kiu Online Campus (I can enter as my son has entered the school) and it may give parents some idea on their teacher's hard work, check this out:

Dear Dr. Law, Ms Eva and Heidi, Steven, all the teachers and staff at Pui Kiu College,

There's nothing good enough to describe my thankful heart to all the hard work, generous heart of all of you to support our kids at the college. I fully agree running a school from zero ground requires tremendous effort and committment. I am so proud that my boy can grow together with the college and hopefully he could be an asset to your school as well.

I used more than 3 years researching for the primary school because both myself and my son suffered from a kindergarten trauma. My son cried for more than a year because he has been ignored and discriminated of his weaknesses, and yet the kindergarten only interest in academic development.   It was once my biggest worry that my son may struggle at the very beginning before he can cope with the new environment.

Now, I can see his happy and smiling face everyday after school, and when we mentioned about the school. I have no regret of choosing your school for my son.   

As for other parents, I understand your concern for the kids as every parents do, but I think the school would also requires our support, patient and understanding too! Let us replace complaint with positive suggestion, lap up the past experience into the future success!

如果培僑收左, 0甘仲可唔可以參加統一派位架 ??

I am afraid you can't since you need to sign a confirmation letter to give up the central allocation place. Pui Kiu chooses all their children through interviewing kids and parents and they don't join the Central Allocation Placement system.

培僑是我喜歡學校之一, 原定今天我們一家都會出席簡介會, 但因天氣問題, 只由爸爸去聽, 囝囝沒有得去, 他很不開心!

從你上篇文章,得知家長對學校之支持及感激, 但到後段,又看見是否部份家長對學校有些投訴?(或是我理解錯), 一間新校, 大家一定會有很多意見,從你觀察, 學校老師會否與家長多溝通?是否願意接納家長意見?

Well, I think I've never seen so much communication between parents and teachers in HK schools. The teachers are just (in my humble opinion) "too" supportive in answering parents needs. Nearly every question, no matter big or small, are answered by teachers personally. Many of the teachers there (from my observation) answer parents called at night on the online system. It makes me worry about their teachers' health condition in the long run. But anyway it seems that they are devoting their time on our kids. But one thing is, I feel that currently parents are also very demanding and having some comments on a new school is unavoidable (no school is perfect right?). I do agree with that parent to say this school is among the best new school in the dealing with all the hiccups when first running in. I've also been checking on many new DSS schools in HK and the reason we chose it is because of the philosophy behind and the sense of assurance it gives us.

So far I am satisified with what they've arranged for us.
