HI MICHELLE HUNG
舊年這個時候我仔仔都係只入到TSL 2nd in,當時自己一知到唔收都忍唔住哭。而自己及仔仔都好喜歡TSL,所以在今年6月再去申請,結果都只是waiting,我仔仔一知只是waiting都哭住問我點解校長唔收他。而我自己當時只能繼續寫信給TSL校長(雖然未必有用,但最少自己做晒可以做的)。好好彩在開學前4天收到TSL電話收小兒。雖然入到waiting的同學仔可能好多,但還是有希望的。大家加油努力！

TSL 係我現時最難捨的OFFER ... 我好喜歡陳守仁孩子的英文和自信 ... 但又傾向課程更進取的學校 ... 陳守仁又咁難考 .. 好難諗!! 我會想多一天 ... 有冇家長決定留SFA放TSL可以分享吓 . 好怕MAKE 錯 DECISION返唔到轉頭 ....

我寄咗信放棄德雅了 .. 因為德雅同SFA都谷又同中學網,當然SFA谷些 (但我的女女是讀書型) ...同一類反而易D取捨 .. TSL, 同SFA兩回事 .. 如果SFA有TSL的語言環境就好了 ... 不過SFA小三都有日文和法文修 .. 大家都冇中學六年後要再戰江湖 ... 我諗我會是傾向SFA, 向TSL SAY GOODBYE ...

I will keep offer from SFA and release TSL. At the end of the day, my girl can only attend one school.

I have a colleague whose daughter is studying at TSL P2 now. 2 years ago, she failed not only both the 1st and 2nd round applications, but also failed in other DSS applications. Surprisingly, she still got a seat from TSL just before the school year started. Therefore, I believe a lot of seats will be released in different stages.

My personal feeling is that TSL is no doubt a good school and is doing very hard to fight for a higher ranking. But it is not yet a top tier school and is obviously overrated now.

I have a deep guilty feeling recently as I kept receiving offer letters and declining right away. In the same time, I saw a lot of parents were desperated and depressed. I repeatedly asked myself whether it was wrong applying so many schools just for backup or benchmarking?

As what I have taught to my girl, take only what you want and leave the remains to others. Please help others who are still in this torturing game.

I think SFA is better than TSL in terms of SSPA.

In fact, SFA is one of my favorite schools and I'll go to it's registration this weekend for my son while waiting for the result of another school in the next month.

We are also chosing among these 3 schools. so difficult decision. I like TSL but there is no connecting secondary school. then we will have to join this game all over again in 6 years. Both SFA and TN do not have as good language as TSL.

Does it concern anyone that TSL has a lot of South Asian kids??

南亞小朋友=>我覺得係推動小囡語言的因素 .. no problem at all ...

我報咁多間, 唔係想霸住 .. 係唔知小女實力會是什麼水平 ..不過我都唔會hold多位 ... 所以先諗到頭痛 ...

不過 .. 應該會放 tsl ... 祝大家囡囡好運 !!

Totally agree with you as the P1 admission process is too exhausted for the kids and their parents. I didn't want to apply so many schools either but my son just got 15 marks. It is almost hopeless to get an offer from a decent government / subsidized school.

hope that those children who haven't got offer yet would finally have a place that match them well!
there is no better school than the one which fit your child.
