事實係唔少香港學生完咗中五去英國讀foundation，一年後就可以報自己果間大學或認可其資歷嘅大學。自己都有朋友經此途徑去咗Durham。咁，點解要係香港讀足6年，為咗聯繫Global 1000大內嘅大學～～～

咪就係，Foundation 讀完中五已經走得，仲要一早安排比人讀 ...

你點計到ify會讀多一年？如果讀完中六考DSE再去英國讀fundation先會多一年. 讀Ify升英國大學更比香港讀大學早畢業一年.

UMan 更新入學要求 不忘初心
要求申請人先完成高中 再讀 IFY
如讀 IFY 當高中 UMan 唔會再取錄

What are the entry requirements?

You must be 17 years old and have completed 12 years of high school education and have a recognised English langauge qualification e.g. IELTS 5.0.

IFY 為 1年制 所以中六為 IFY
中四/中五可視為 Pre-IFY
因為完成中五讀 IFY 升學有限制

"Students entering via this route [Successful completion of Form 5 / Year 11 with an average of 60%] may have limited progression options."

其實英國名大學一向唔prefer收讀foundation既學生，尤其係海外學生

其實我有無理解錯？曼大係話唔接受同一時間修讀IFY和其他高中課程，並非唔承認中五後讀IFY嘅學生～～～

The University of Manchester receive thousands of applications from NCUK students each year. Due to the high demand, the university will only make offers to NCUK students who have been admitted onto the International Foundation Year (IFY), with a previous qualification deemed to be the equivalent, in standard, to AS Level.

Students must meet the prerequisite standard prior to starting the NCUK International Foundation Year and The University of Manchester will, unfortunately, not make offers to students who take the NCUK International Foundation Year at the same time as a high school qualification.

Below is a list of the qualifications which The University of Manchester have considered to be
below the level of AS Level, and therefore will not be accepted for admission to The University of
Manchester after completing the NCUK International Foundation Year:

“may have” limited progression options, may have =/= must have

有興趣都係問返曼大求clarification ，list就係度，入面無香港，亦無Canada， Japan~~~

我一直唔認同估估下，不過我位年輕人對foundation無興趣，亦叫佢唔好估估下，一個email搞定，所以唔會問啦，佢亦已經無須要～～～
