請問幾歲考鋼琴一級試?

My daughter practices piano 3 to 4 times (half hour each time) every week.  Is this schedule ok?

The piano said my daughter always remembers the finger position such as 1, 2, 3, 4 rather than the CDEFGABC position in the piano. Is this a serious problem?

I have talked with the teacher before about my daughter progress. Everytime she said it is ok. As I don't know how to play piano, I then think it is OK. Maybe I need to disscuss with her in detail.

BTW,  what is the difference between Jh Th's Modern Course 1st Grade Book and Jh Th's Easiest Piano Course. Should I ask the teach to use this one after finishing the existing Jh Th's Easiest Piano Course?

我之前同你都有差唔多經驗, 學左六個月, 都認到音同拍子, 之後轉老師之後才告知, 只用12345, 唔記abcde, 之後進度會好慢, 有排都唔可能考試, 因為考試歌同視譜測驗隻手要成日轉位, 不過用12345起初的進度就快過用abcde的, 我個小朋友total學左一年多啦, 我們準備比佢考二級, 因為我唔想佢考一, 不過我日日都陪佢綀的, 一日兩次, 每次十多至二十分鐘啦, 以前我唔陪綀的, 我唔識ma, 老師又唔suggest我咁做, 不過現在老師話pre-piano的學生(三至六歲)有家長一起綀, 錯既時候立即改正, 唔記得要改的要提番佢 (當然老師有每堂之後會講大約要幫佢d咩), 進度快好多, d二級既考試歌, 個妹妹竟要係老師教之前都識慢慢夾雙手, 記得哥哥學到成七歲都唔得, 我見要老師寫晒手指之前逐個音教...好慢先學一行..當然依家我都落好多心機的, 不過如以前我識咁, 個仔一定好好多,不過我全職媽媽時間比較多, 如果你唔係全職媽媽, 都可以試下每晚抽少少時間睇下你小朋友呀 :)

My daughter now just 6 years'old, start learning piano from Sept 05, will exam grade 1 on April 07, is it too slow ?
$600 (4 weeks/45 mins per week) is it expensive ?

Her teacher is one of the piano shop teacher but we asks her to teach in home (private).

Please commend.

我阿女幼稚園已開始學琴, 到舊年11月先考第一次琴試 (11歲 考3級), 好彩都pass, 仲有merit 添。

Esmond's mom, thanks again for your professional advice.

Can you suggest some ways for me to help my daughter to overcome the sight-reading problem? Acutally, she knows CDEFG positions when doing theory exercise or whenever I ask her. Should I erase all the fingerings in the books?

Now I will accompany with her whenever she practices piano. I will ask her to identify CDEFG of the songs first before playing. Is this OK?

I don't know how to help my daughter to learn better. Even though I have Grade 5 music theory backgroud, I feel theory is different from practice. I can teach my daughter the theory but I don't know how teach her play the piano.
