You are so terrific!  Thanks to your useful info. web.  Actually, I am so impressed that you have made every effort to relate to everyone that this is almost the greatest school in town, absolutely you can say that....  

Recently, I am looking for an international school for my child who is now in P.5.  The reason I wanted to transfer school is because the current school has given us so so much pressure!!!   I (We) cannot bear it anymore!!!  

KCIS may be a good choice but don't know much about the history of this section, and whether the teachers are all expatriates.  Not to mention, Mandarin teachers must be excellent as you have stated earlier.   As for the school fee, it is definitely higher than at the main section.   

I still have query on their secondary level, as I know they have just started Form 4 this year, and don't know if it will continue to extend a level each year.  Are they introducing IB (International Baccalaureate) program now?  Sorry so many questions here, hope you can share or welcome any parent who may have some knowledge from the International Section of Kiangsu & Chekiang College.

"She" said you need not to worry anything. Even KCS (not KCIS) is also good indeed. Its worth to check the info. of KCS on that day. No harm done.

What are the difference between the main stream and international stream?
Is it a traditional or acitiviity-based kindergarten, as I want my children has a happy school life?
How many homework?
How about the English standard?  Can the kid speak fluent English?

其實國際部和主流班, 係有分別, 國際部是活動教學, 小朋友一般都沒有功課, 小朋友都很enjoy. 主流班 k1功課好簡單, 都係連線, 完全沒有壓力,k2開始寫一d簡單d字,不過不用擔心, 一般小朋友都可以自己完成, 因為她們的老師有她們的一套教法, 可以令小朋友容易寫, 不過k2下學期有黙書, 不過不是太深, 老師會幫小朋友溫習. 我仔仔十分enjoy返學, 因為他說班主任很好. 至於英文, 我個人覺得不用太擔心, 因為k1開始英文是用外籍老師教, 同埋我仔仔個班有個法國小朋友同鬼妹,不過無可否認, 讀國際班, 英文會好好多, 因為我仔仔今年由k3起上午讀主流班, 下午讀埋國際班(係佢自己要求),英文真的好了好多, 起碼佢可以自己講一本英文故事比我聽(reading tree). 其實momom妳不用太擔心, 因為蘇浙小學平均分比其他小學中英數三科都高出30%以上. 希望以上的資料可以幫到妳.

我都聽過有小朋友上午讀主流班, 下午讀國際班, 為的是打好語文基礎報讀名校…但其實大家有沒有聽過這班小朋友最後的出路是怎樣? 能否入到如DBSPD這等名校呢? 我有朋友正考慮中, 請指教!
