Thank you, Thomasha.
But since quite a few net friends here feel doubtful about my "purpose", allow me to supplement further here:
My purpose of writing & sharing these articles is that, during the past few years up to now while I'm reading many related books & searching schools for my two kids as a Dad, I really realize some 現象 among parents nowadays & I've already suffered a lot from handling kids (including mine) + employing & managing those 80s/90s in the workplace.
Since we can't change the HK education system & policies in the foreseeable future, I really think I should speak up and encourage parents to RE-THINK (- not really persuading them but to raise up another perspective, in fact an old perspective but somehow being forgotten). It's a difficult missionary task but I reckon it's for the goodness of school kids in HK.
Thank you all anyway.
Let's make the discussion continue!
P.S. For those "interested" in my background, so a little bit about myself:
I graduated from one of those elite schools, I read quite a number of education-related books, I talked with parents from different background, I discussed with teachers, principals, ...and students from different schools.
I admit this maybe not a scientific research but I guess I've laid out 80% of the true education scene in HK nowadays. Thank you!
