Briefing大概內容是說PN班已經無位可以收我們的小朋友, 但是K1是有位的. 但我囡囡是2009年11月份BB, 今年讀K1即是到考小學時便變成超細女, 這樣我們這批2009年11月及12月B便較蝕底. 校長說以他們的經驗給這批小朋友讀他們的Head-Starter班讀1年後再正式上K1. 她說PN的小朋友年齡較參差,學校給他們的會是Child Care多些而學術上會少一些. 但Head-starter班會加多一些學術上的課程給小朋友因為這批大B會Pick up得好些. 最後給了我們一張紙條簽是否同意他們重讀K1.

校長還說肯定收我的小朋友的只是看怎樣安排, 但詳情他們還好像未完全安排好. 而正式上課時間是跟其他小朋友一樣2012年8月中. 但我看到另外一帖(2010年年初)的一批小朋友是安排於2013年2月上學, 即上半個學期的Head -Starter班.

即係09年既超大B就offer今年8月既head-start K1, 而10年頭大B就offer出年3月既head-start K1, 而head-start收K既學費而教既內容就比pn班深d? 嘩，我地有PN offer既咪好唔fair? 我地俾多d學費但係教淺d （child care成份多d?????), 如只要child care service點解我要俾咁貴學費去York讀？

我對校長的解釋無太大異議,
但有趣的是我於8月報讀時報錯了K1, 9月Interview完出Result係Reject先知道攪錯. 後來再報安排12月in. 但係他們現在又安排我可選Head-starter班或直接讀K1. 我認為佢收生不足, 但我Buy他們的教學法及校社所以就算Commercial我都俾佢去讀.

Otherwise, how can the school attract those big b to join class half year later.  Normally those big b would have offer outside for a full year of PN, rather than accepting half year as provided by York!  But as the headmistress said they would also provide head starter offer to those big b who has already been accepted by their PN.  The key point is you are big b!  Headmistress did mention a few times that she would prefer big b since it's easier to teach!

I think I would start with HKPS first since you can start class in Sept!  Then your b doesn't need to waste time for half year lar!  See if you're satisfied with HKPS's curriculum, if so you can continue with HKPS.  Otherwise, you can shift to York in Feb 2013.

I think its' because they will have another school but now it's not ready for accepting student (maybe due to not being passed the govt regulation)!  Therefore they can't risk accepting student now!  The headmistress did mention in the briefing that she couldn't take the risk that the reputation being lost (i.e. to accept many student swhile the building is still not passing building regulation), though she didn't spell out clearly!  But I did get this message!

同埋, 呢道有無BB 係9月已收到PN offer 而個BB是 2009/11-12 , 2010/1-2出世呢, 如果咁呢批BB係咪可以up grade做Head starter ?

我小朋友就係有PN offer既2月B, 31/1去交費果陣都冇提過可以去head-start, 我覺得最唔fair係佢話head-start收K既學費但教得深過PN (which is PN學費高過K)

Actually, headmistress did mention in briefing that they would also upgrade those early accepted PN big bb!  By the way, I don't think their head starter class would be more complicated in curriculum!  I think that's just the marketing strategy the school use!  As they said, the PN class is relatively simple and more in child care!  So they said lost of half year can be compensated in later half year, especially ours are big b!
