Ms CC has a good suggestion!  Why not consider it?  But by the time your son is in P1, HRGPS might have lost its connection to QC    :cry:  

How about SAPS?  I like that school even though my kids are not there.

OIC - I also hope that I can make it regularly for the Sat sessions.  This year, my kids are having the same Saturdays off so I might have problems going to both schools as volunteers.......  

I like the new timetable.   It means lesser books to bring!   My girl had a day with almost all subjects during P4.  It was a nightmare to carry her bag to the school bus stop!   But my girl is not happy that PE lesson is now only once a week altho' it is 50 mins.  Probably this is just her biased view.

My girl's class only has 32 students.  It was similar to last year's.  Usually, more kids will switch schools after P3.  At least this has been the experience for the past 2 years.

Anyway, it is still a number of years away.  Observe and decide when the time is nearer.....

dear mschanchan, my love sindy,
is it having more than 40 ppl in am class? while only 30+ in pm class?
one mami asked me to consider this problem, but i still prefer the morning session due to good usage of time.

唔同人數,唔同班數,下午少人但五班,上午多人,但好似少班,不過上午開班好似視乎人數而定,你個case梗係上午啦

係呀，上午校低年級每班都幾多人，不過越上高班就人數會較少。
上oral的時候會將一班分為二。

至於開幾多班好似唔係睇當年有幾多學生，而係睇當年有幾多班畢業，因為課室有限。 例如，03/04只有三班小六畢業班，所以今年04/05只能收番3班小一。

tks for reply. last week we went to the parents' talk for p.1. I heard many mami said that they were totally impressed by the headmistress, so kind, has sense of humor and up-to-dated.  I erected my eyes and heard that other mami all chose pm coz the std is now getting close so why bother to pay? i really wonder why am session is so low in profile, no talk, no open day... is it "good thing no need to sell"?

上午班真係好low in profile,乜都無架,因為多數人諗住入唔到下午先讀上午(但當然有人覺得時間好或其他原因啦),佢地(上午班)諗住你黎,我就收你,所以都無乜好講掛,同埋都會有好多家長係搵好晒料掛

咁我真係好exceptional那些，我係兩邊都收我不過我綜合很多人意見而揀上午校的，當然時間上的安排都佔考慮因素之一

或者，上午校採取的策略係 ：有麝自然香

some mami said that now am session stop their science class (maybe shall say, posepone until p.4) while pm starts science from p.1, pls clarify me.
i remember when i was young, my colleague's mami used big effort to put her in dgjs coz they have science class there, her mami said only these kind of school can bring their student to major in science and became nurse wor, but it was happening about 40 years ago...don't know what is the system now..

係呀,下午班今年加左科science,但書仲未出呀 ,上午班就好似小三開始有,因為比人嘈佢話深得濟呀好似,我諗唔係有科science先可以做醫生護士既,都好睇中學成績掛

我個女都係讀緊下午校, 我自己本人非常鍾意黃修女, 佢會主動同o的學生傾計, 又主動送貼紙比學生, 聽我個女另外一個上午校o既同學個媽咪講(佢係教書o既), 話黃修女係以前st. mary個校長, 所以佢好恨入下午校, 不過最係無入到, 唔知點解?

點都好, 我覺得上午校有上午校好, 下午校有下午校o既優點, 兩間都係好學校
