My child took the exam on 2.11.2006 and received the result yesterday (9.12.2006).  You may get the result on coming Monday.  Good luck!

I also recieved a letter last saturday.  Is  the examiner for your kid male or female?  My daugther told me that all her classmates said female examiner is very strict and would normally give lower mark.
This time my two girls were examinated by female one.  She was really very strict.

The examiner of my child was a man, but he was very strict also (I think), the whole marking sheet was full of comments!  Very serious.

我女係 11月11日考, 老師話應該下星期有結果. 考官係男人,唔知佢計分嚴唔嚴? 等我收到後, 睇下評分係點?
不過有樣唔知會唔會扣分, 我叮囑呀女好多次, 入到佢第一句要講 'good morning. 佢話驚到唔記得講! 扣唔扣分架?

是否如你們所講女考官比男考官更難攪呢? 我兒考了5年, 2年女3年男, 但每次個分紙都寫滿晒, 睇落無乜唔同喎! 今年個男既寫左句:考LEE個GRADE有感既分已經好好啦! 你地點睇呀

Hi all,

My son did not pass the Grade 2 exam. It's really to our surprise (myself, my son and his teacher). His teacher said she never thinks that my son would fail ! And she guess it's because the examiner is really stict (he's an old guy). I was very upset that day when I received the result and my son cried when he knew the result !

The teacher suggests my son to take the Grade 3 exam by 2008 (skip next year). In fact, I think exam is not really that important, I admitted him to the Grade 2 exam just to give him a 'target' to achieve and give him motivation to practise more. As he was happy with his Taekwondo exams all the time when he can progress to higher grades. I think I won't 'easily' admit him to piano exam next time, unless I'm sure he is ready for it.
