Last time when we went to interview, I saw some students, since from one class, maybe P.2 having P.E. lessons.  There have 3 groups, one group per 1 teacher.  Around 7 students per group.  So I think that is very good and better for the kids to learn.

Hi stephanieshum,

The students will follow the teacher to the classroom.  My daughter told me, the teacher asked her in English "You want I ask you in English or Chinese?"  My daughter said English.  So I think that will be more better.  They will give them pictures and explain what you see.  Just only know this, since she haven't tell me.  But she was so happy when finished.

For us, since my daughter was scare to get inside the lift without us and cry, so my husband follow her and I had the interview by myself.  Nothing special for our interview.  Just ask who take care of her and her homework.  (When you arrived the school, you need to fill in a form, write down how do you feel your kids was - her good things and things they need to improve).  The officer will ask you about that thgs that you wrote.  Less than 10 mins finished my interview.

Yes, that day I also saw the football team, the traniners is foreigner.  Seems quite good.
When is your daughter's interview date, maybe we are on same date. ^.^

Hi tabozak: Just finished interview today. The details as you told. I asked my son what questions they asked. He told no singing required. It was an individual interview for kids. Most questions are english. He told me to teacher asked him to write his name on a piece of paper and also as your daughter look at the picture and describe what you see.
I am so anxious about the result. I asked the interview if on waitlist when will I know about and she told me should need to wait until next year Aug.
Anyway thanks for your previous tips and it really help me for the parent's part.

Your son answered the teacher in English?  Anyway don't worry...take it easy.  You will see the good news after 1 to 2 weeks.
BTW, any others schools you applied?

Hi tabozak: He answered all those parts in Eng except the part that questions were in Chi. He told me that for one part he's not doing well but all others he said good.
St. Marg. is the only school I applied. If not ok I need to wait for the lucky draw by gov't.

I had interview on 19 Oct. But total time taken around 2.5hours. Kids interview around 30min. My son said all in English.....It is the parent interview that we wait for more than an hour...it takes 15 min. for the interview and most of the time we ask the teacher's questions.

My total time is around 2hours. Kids interview around 30mins and to wait for parents interview almost an hour. The questions for parents were around the questionaire. The other questions were who take care of my kid and what time the parents go home after work. Can you tell what questions you ask the teacher? thanks!

英文面試先！後來會談家長我小兒又多口反問miss 你能說普通話嗎？ 我當時心想死得 小孩無禮貌多口,因此不要擔心希望在明天

聽說每位小朋友都會有個評分, 只要達到學校要求的分數而學校仲有位就會收, 所以先會咁快收到信.  如果接近學校要求的分數就會放入waiting list等有人放棄才補上.  

其他學校有時會等interview哂所有學生再揀最top果d先收, 所以要好耐先有結果.

I asked the teacher : about the school bus arrangement ? Activities schedules ? will there be more girls than boys ? some questions on their Language environment...etc....I believe I ask her more questions than she asked me.

My son's classmate that had interview on 22Oct and received confirmation on 25Oct. So quick.
