Same situation , we were planning change to another IS for half year before aishk but I don’t think it’s a good idea. Plus he is happy with his current k1 local kinder , so I want him to stay at his current one to learn more Chinese first . Then start prep in January age 5;)
Just too much hassle changing schools buying uniform books etc

我剛在8月份申請2022 year 1. Admin 說明年內有位輪到我就會call. 我們只有local passports

請問大家平均等幾耐才有offer?近幾年的情况， In 完多唔多唔收？

我都想瞭解下. 我七月中幚仔申請2022 prep，跟住學校約我地九月初去assessment.
我地都系local passport，想問下如果pass到interview 系咪都系waitpool 等有位先入學？

prep係mass intake既一年，大d機會執到d 臨時 reject offer的位。interview後好快知結果，pass咗就有offer，就唔駛再waitlist。

學校本身好多人有外國護照，所以唔會太care你揸local passport，因為唔會太影響到佢地既statistics，當然啦，澳紐護照會有priority。

year 1 相對難d，好少人走，走亦未必會fill up全部學位

如2022入學就重讀半年Y1 我地8月轉黎而家IS 日日話唔鍾意個學校好驚再轉又係一樣 ...

因為學制唔同，就會造成所謂重讀或者跳級的情況，其實問題不大，因為個個小朋友都係咁。

你小朋友因為咩原因唔鍾意而家間學校？你既情況真係要慎重考慮，否則年年轉校對大人小朋友都唔理想

主要係返學時間長左好多而家返全日唔慣其次課程轉左之前可能學IB返學比較多整下手 ...

AISHK課程主要跟番澳洲課程，詳情可以上網睇。

其實同UK curriculum 都幾相似，都係subject based，課堂上inquiry based learning 或者活動形式去學習。

中文每日都有一堂，學校教中文教得淺，Y1以上會分stream上課，學習內容會唔同，不過都係淺過local好多，有要求的話就要自己補
