May be the school this year use the talk (attendence) to screen out those who're not really interested in the school to attend the waiting list interview this June. Did they do the same in the past??

Agree. And I believe this is more effective than asking parents to pay one month school fee as deposit. I don't recall they have such request for past years.

Waaaaa .... so demanding ..!!! hahaha and this can prevent those parents to hold the seats even if they're not interested in the school!

spreading out from Sept in 2011 to June 2012.....
What a good strategy!!! Time is more precious than $$$$ for parents. But this can really find parents who really like to send their kids to this school ge!

The school said they have acceptance, first waiting, waiting and reject letters but refuse to tell the number of each kind.

Not at all, my girl also on First waiting list, I understand other parents' concern, just want to share information with others.
