不過有個問題, 封信說如果參加統一派位, 會變成備取生.是什麼意思 ?

我打去學校問左, 個職員答, 直至11月23日第一輪自行收生放榜前, 學校都唔會把留位學生資料遞去教統局~
但11月23日放榜後, 若家長決定俾小朋友繼續參加第二輪大抽獎的話, 即使已交留位費, 個小朋友都會變成備取生... 變成備取生, 咁佢地唔會把小朋友資料上呈!

有無家長收到 wait list or reject既信？

9/11 是 deadline 交留位費.

如果交了留位費, 23/11 放榜后, 學校是否會把小朋友名字上呈 ? 如果不會, 佢地點知邊d小朋友2邊留位 ?

如果 23/11 放榜后沒有位. 1月才決定會唔會參加大抽獎. 到時學校是否會問我地會唔會參加大抽獎 ? 如果決定參加, 佢地將我地變備取生.如果我參加大抽獎又唔同佢地講. 是否佢地會把我地個名上呈教育處. 教育處便把我地個名除走 ? 如果係咁, 同 dss 有咩分別 ?

我個囡都收左, 10/10 in, 我都好confuse, 好想等埋蘇淅同真光result先決定, 蘇淅10月尾會通知, 但真光要等到23/11, 今日in完高主教又覺得囡囡表現唔錯, 可能有機, 真係唔收又擔心, 收左又好苦惱!

My daughter is accepted. 但是我想問:
如果我巳交留位, 再參加大抽獎, 囡囡變做備取生, 大抽獎結果失敗。咁囡囡是否有機會入唔返救恩呢??

This is the way to protect the school, although it's a private school.

No la, as a private school, they cannot stop you from joining the lucky draw.  

You will get a letter from EDB asking whether you still want to join the lucky draw.  Just say yes if you want to.  The school will be notified of your decision, but the heaviest penalty you may get is to lose your registration fee and the place at that school.

如果你的第一志願是津校, 及定必參加統一派位, 你會否/應否交留位費只為了hold備取生位?

My son is in P1 now, and last year, there are people who get rejected.  This school is really great though, and I think this is the only choice for my younger, won't even try applying another one.

I actually got a waiting list letter.  This is a good school indeed.

Kau Yan is a really great school. My little one is accepted and I gladly give up the "lucky draw" simply because I don't like anything that I have absolutely no control of.

I havn't made up my mind yet.  Would you please share more why you love this school?  There is little discussion in BK or other forum and I do not know anyone studying in Kau Yan.

I like this school because I heard this is a very loving and caring school. To me, good moral values are more important than good academic results. Not that the academic result of Kau Yan is not good. You may have a look at this link for her 2008-2009 secondary school allocation:
