你好,見維記何文田的收生竟然會500:30?,咁我就真係有d奇怪啦.以下是我的真實經驗想同大家分享下! 我女兒今年12月才足兩歲.即是超細女啦.不過其實我同囡囡在上年11月左右曾經面試過維記的幼兒班.當時in維記是因為對佢在hk的名氣已報.當時由於我女得11月人仔所以表現其實一般.最後維記是唔收我女兒讀幼兒班的.不過維記反而在信上表明可以為我女兒優先預留08-09k1上午班.由於機不可失我即時同意並且剛剛交了６６０元註冊費

但眼見大家維記收咁小但我個女又咁易入真係有d奇怪啫!

I agree with isis-dad ah. That's why Victoria K1 class only got very limited vacancy.

係呀, HMT呢邊有好多位都hold俾pn嘅學生, 不過也不是所有人都會讀維記嘅, 所以如果你好想讀呢間幼稚園不妨寫封信俾孔校長,  關鍵是快和誠懇, 想轉上晝班的也是如此!

我的兒子幸運己收了明年K1下午班. 請問你的兒子是英粵班?還是英普班呢?
如英粵班,請間普通話每星期有多少堂和幾耐時間呢?
請問每天/每星期 學校有沒有通告或內聯網可以知道他在學校學了甚麼/生活?老師會主動告訴兒子的情嗎?

學校是否沒有開窗? 空氣是否流通? K1有功課嗎?Victoria是很開心上學,但我也擔心他們的紀律和是否也教導他們的品德呢?

對不起非常多問題,因為作為父母很希望找一間合適的幼稚園給他!我的大兒子是讀根德園,我問弟弟再讀KV好不好?他說:[不好,因為根德園沒有教英文phonix,隔星期才上普通話(只有半小時),從未試過show n tell /presentation/group discussion. 但同學們的幼稚園已試過做,所以他覺得KV只注重抄寫默書是不好, 不過KV很注重禮貌和秩序,令到小學interview時很多老師也覺得他很乖!]

據我所知,PN是一星期2堂普通話好像是各30MIN. 不知K1會否多些.請問你大仔讀邊間小學?是否很多KV同學考到名小學?

Thanks for your info. My girl was on waiting list for HMT Victoria. But luckily, she got an offer at SC am class. I will enroll her to SC.

小兒讀英粵班, 每星期有兩節普通話, 至k3時會每日有40分鐘普通話.

有通告給家長, 開學時也有課程大綱, 另可每月在網上下載照片, 隨時可與老師聯絡, 也有迎新日, 家長日, 校長茶聚, 家長觀課等安排.  維記透明度好高!

我每日送仔仔上學, 可在課室門口逗留十數分鐘!

小朋友都懂禮貌, 但就不是坐定定那種, 普遍家庭教育都好好!

My son also have offered for PM K1 in Homantin next year, but I would try to switch to AM class as the staff told me we can try if some nursery student may not stay in K1 next year.

If you want to apply ESF for your kid, Victoria may not be your cup of tea!
I have met you in another thread before, right?!  Anfield/Yew Chung/Kingston/Tutor Time would be a better choice in your case.  
Don't hold the place, someone would need it anyway.  Let go.

咁你會否考慮喺anfield讀k1呢?  Teacher Justin走咗啦, 去咗教中學, 而anfield嘅k1全部是女老師, 佢哋果邊好多小朋友入ESF嘅學校, 讀國際小學的情況"非常"理想.  (資料來自07年派的校刊)
另外如果入到英基旗下的幼稚園當然就最理想! 祝你成功!

My daughter has also been offered a place in HMT pm class next year. I have sent a letter requesting to switch to am session already. The staff told me that seats will be given (if available) on a first-come-first-serve basis in accordance to the request date.

I feel comfortable with their curriculum and teachers. But just that there is no outdoor playground. . .

Glad to hear that your daughter also been offered a place same as my son in HMT, yes they are in first-serve-first-come basis....I also already fax the letter to them of course if the AM class is available...

In fact, they don't have outdoor playgroud also the weakness of this kinder but then I try to focus on their curriculum and learning approach and found that it may be the one fit my son...every kids have their own characters right...

Also HKPS is my choice too and now still wait for the results....I only went for the interviews for 3 kinders for my son...SC, Victoria and HKPS, and I then choose Victoria and give up SC, I don't want to hold the place as well...

Congrats to both of you.  

No outdoor playground is one of the weakness of Vic(HMT) but in the other way, the kids could enjoy playing no matter the weather how terrible is. or

The next step is to solve the problem of transportation---what kind of transportation you would take to go to school?  Contact the bus company and you need to have a good preparation.
