DD獎我都有好多，譬如閱讀圖書獎、進步獎、幫助別人獎等、 這些當然是對小朋友的鼓勵 ，但我覺得在校長眼光裏，老實講這些獎對報小一沒只實際用處。

90% teacher will consider your profile (handmade, not commercial, dont write too much )

Many Famous Private School will concern it.
I sent 12 books out and got offers from 10 schools.

I think I need to start working on the profile in Aug.
My daugther will be promoted to K3.
Do you think if I want to apply 5-8 schools is crazy?
coz I feel that the 1st & 2nd round is too uncertain...

Do it now and Draw more pictures on each pages.
Scan all certs into small size in 2-3 pages.
Dont send too thick , not more than 6 pages is the best ...

我apply左幾多間呢..........一間直升, 一間自行, 另外正正式式考左3間, 另一間無派過表, 我又無後台, 叩門都無回音........
6-8間真係唔crazy wor! 面試既野好難講架, 有時雖然唔甘心, 輸左都唔知咩事, 不過都只可以接受現實.....好top既, 就算明知無咩機都不妨試下, 可能小朋友有超水準表現呢!
另外, 我自己覺得, 幾時都應該搵一間次心水既去考, 我上bk咁耐, 年年都見到有家長, 去到大抽獎至嗌慘, 話考咁多間都唔得, 一個offer都無好傍徨............果d超級名校, 有時真係入唔到唔好問點解, 唔係小朋友smart就一定入到(大家心照啦), 所以老早應該當買個保險, 其實有時次選學校, 都係唔錯既, 想入都唔係特別難, 交幾百蚊留位費, 起碼個心都定d丫!

Thanks for your經驗之論. 好有用. 你finally選了邊間? 直升? 自行? or others?  我都是打算有保險好過無...但係咪在自行收生若ok, 就不會有機會抽籤1st round的第2part? & 2nd round? 通常, 直資/私小是否在自行前已收生? 咁就無機會抽籤?

我finally揀左間心儀直資, 我自行揀果間, 預左一定無機........因為太多人爭
好多人都話, 自行揀果間, 最好係統一排第一果間, 因為, 有d學校, 如果見你唔係2round都揀佢, 係唔會俾機會你去叩門既! (誠意問題), 當然, 自行只揀一間通常都係頭號心水(唔限地區), 入左仲駛咩大抽獎丫:
私校直資通常9-11月就攪收生(有小部分會早d遲d), 結果一定早過6月公佈架喇, 男拔女拔算遲, 都只係12月有結果, 抽與唔抽, 到時再決定啦!

我而家晚晚都自己砌緊profile的layout同埋內容( 都無人借sample俾我參考下!), 以小女咁少quali, 都幾考心思點去sell:, 有很多reference letter都是臨急抱佛腳去拿, (原來應早些少拿, 因為八月很多校長放大假), 不過我都會盡力砌掂一份, it's part of the experience of being parents.
