德望 (GH) vs 九龍糖學校 (KTS)

If my daughter is accepted by both GH and KTS, Please advise which one is better. I learn that both schools are traditional style and impose strict discipline. Out door activities are also outstanding. Both teaching staff are professional and pay special care to the student.

May I have your comment? It's quite difficult to make a choice.

I'd still not receive the accepatance letter from KTS. I just pretend and want to seek your favorable adivce if both accept my daughter.  KTS will annouce in late November.

其實兩間程度都很接近, 揀邊間好視付家長的要求. 如果家長想唔駛煩, 我就提意GH, 因為有中學上, 收大約80-85%自己小學的學生, 但壓力很大. 相反, KTS 所學的東西比較全面, 小朋友讀得開心, 雖然學術程度都唔低, 但壓力無GH那麼大, 不過就無中學直上, 尤其女孩子, 因為 KTS 收比較少女孩子, 而且該區校網女校比男校少. 所以要睇家長想小朋友開心定想唔駛煩囉! (我的女女讀GH, 仔仔讀KTS)

My daugher also applied both schools and I made a registration this afternoon as same as you. I'm still waiting for the annoucement of KTS. Then I'll make a final decision. Anyway, thank you for your comment.  :

KTS, a nice outdoor playground and grass while high quality of teaching, in view of our daughter's initiative to learning and enjoyment of her school life in the past one year.

At this moment, you only can choose GH, coz you need to register GH on yesterday afternoon from 2-5 and KTS will send out the result after government result. so it is meaningless to ask such question here, coz there is no option if you ask for GH or KTS? I suggest someone can stimulate a new topic to rank all Private and DSS by ownself.

I just forcast a problem that I may face and I'm seeking for  favorable comments from the experienced parent(s).  You can't offer any comment or idea and just ask for a new topic. You're better to create a new topic and don't browse into this title.

Hi, bon06bon,

Regarding yr question, my personal opinion is GHS. I prefer school with thru' train and have no more hassle when my girl is at P5. My girl has been accepted at GHS and I will not think about KTS anymore. However, still hoping to get our 1st choice in the lucky draw Jun 07.

My son apply KTS, still waiting for the rsult. As for you, my recommendation is GHS. Both my sister and I graduate in Good Hope. We start from primary to secondary, excellent school though the sisters and principal is very tough but I always beleive tough training will help one to be stronger in facing different people, different environment when they grow up. Anyhow, if I have a girl, I will for sure sent her to GHS. Good academic performance, very good English. The student is full of confident and very smart. Highly recommend!

若然閣下的是囡囡，我較贊成選擇GH。
再者：論師資、校譽、校外成績、學校環境，GH較優勝。
