Is the chance for getting a seat higher when compared to other schools. As I learnt from parents that 300 seats offered for 06 Yr. Is that right ?

How many students sit the 2nd interview, 350? or 400 ?

Would the result placed at web as well since my friend told me he hasn't received the letter yet ! Ths.

你們是否都經過2nd-in? 我今天收到信說因為我沒安排申請人參與2nd-in的評估活動,所以未能取錄. 但實情是我根本沒收過任何2nd-in的通知.本想也就算了,反正也不打算入讀,但下午真道就打電話來說信件有誤,小女在waiting list 上.奇怪!不用2nd-in就自動有wait list,那要2nd-in做啥?

I received the rejection letter today in the morning.  However, I received a call from the school that the letter was wronlgy sent to me.  The correct one will be received on Monday.  The result is waiting list.  I am very strange to tell her that l did not receive any invitation for the 2nd interview.  Will you make any mistake for that?  I think the administrative background procedures are someway strange.

I am not sure the detailed procedures for the Primary One-intake this year.
In the past, 1st interview was group interview for the children, and the 2nd interview was individual interview for the parents. Maybe some parents attended the 2nd interview can share their experience.
Maybe the school this year put all the children without invitations for 2nd interview on the waiting list, and not the reject list.

We received one admission letter and one letter  from principal that they will not put the admission list on web-site this year because of privacy.

2006 there will be 300 places for P.1-intake.
I heard that there were about 900 applicants.

我都是這樣.
我想校方是怕收生不足(300人入讀談何容易), 任何落選的, 都全不放過, 好似好商業. 攪到一點也不珍貴. :cry:

I have also received both 'letter' and 'phone call'.  I think this is their way to keep ensuring the 300 seats can be filled in coming Sept.  In addition, they are not confident in the 'show up rate' after the results of both government schools and those famous traditional schools have been announced.

The lady told me that their 2nd interview has not been finished although it has been announced that the result would be finalised by 21 Nov ??? She said that the 2nd interview will continue until December or even after December ..... ???
