york: any one got rejection?

I received special case. End of sept b. some of my friends oct b got k1! I won't consider Special K since I got funful pn offer already. I dislike this arrangement. But school insist I need to attend briefing. I wonder if they hv rejection letter? Other than pn, k1 and special case. Waste my time

I never heard anyone got the rejection (as least not any from this forum). So I presume they don't reject anyone. Rather, they try to offer as many options as possible to keep the customers. Very good business sense!

我覺得一定會有，俾盡佢k1都係收八百個學生，只係大家都講到york咁來者不拒，真係reject都唔會講啦

I think they are doing to best to offer as many seats as possible at this stage - a profit-making business model.  Even so, it is impossible to offer to all applicants - as they received 3800 applications and K1 as roughly 800 seats.

雖然未決定讀唔讀YORK, 但其實有好多問題一直都唔明, 點解YORK收得多學生就係commercial呢?  佢冇專揀大B嚟收, 咁唔係一件好事嗎, 大B細B無可否認能力係真係可以相差好多, 極端嘅可以差成年, YORK有PN, special K, K1有多啲學位, 佢又唔睇你下年表現係點預先收定, 咁唔係一件好事嗎?  咁就係commercial?  出面好多非牟利學校都係唔睇表現一出世就可以排隊入, 先到先得, 點解呢啲大家又唔會話有問題呢?  唔係咁嘅學校先表現到有教無類嗎?  仲有就係, 我認識好多讀過YORK嘅小朋友, 畢業之後小學嘅學業成績都非常好, 咁如果未讀YORK之前能力一般, 畢業後就成績非常好, 咁唔係間學校嘅本事嗎?  如果與其講呢間學校太commercial, 不如直接講學費太貴, 我真係唔明點解成日啲家長唔鍾意啲學校又解釋唔到點解時, 就好鍾意話間學校commercial, 有邊間學校係唔收學費唔收雜費嘅呢?  YORK環境唔錯, 設施資源充足, 有小提琴同網球學, 多外藉老師, 其實其它學校如果要提供到以上嘅嘢, 我相信學費都係會差唔多, 實在唔明點解呢間學校好似好多負面評價咁, 但問親小朋友讀過嘅家長又個個都話好, 奇怪奇怪

我覺得York應該係一間好學校，不過佢收生做法（即係一次過出pn&k1 offer共800位)有點倒自己米，數量比其他名幼多，雖知物以罕為貴嘛，所以好多人唔珍惜

How do u know it is 3-day work shop?I called and asked earlier on, their reply was 1day work shop.

我覺得更奇怪既，係york既家長特別火爆，一有人少少質疑，佢地就立刻激動反駁。第二間又唔見咁情況 年年都係咁。又或者無啦啦開post勁讚間學校。莫非有打手?

我鍾意york. 覺得york 係一間有實力既學校。但唔認同佢係有教無類。心水清既都知咩事。我都覺得佢commercial.  但commercial 又點？私營學校講錢是常識吧？ 比得仔女入去讀，都係相信佢有實力。所以我唔介意佢commercial
