小朋友的適應能力很高，而且一般英中都有補底課程，協助學生儘快適應。

In HK, EMI primary schools not majority, CMI is the majority..... From track record, I will say a few months can catch up.

在上學期，英小上的有一定優勢，但一到下學期，中小的同學已經適應，可以追上，除非個小朋友自己不努力

不過個個都唔同, 最緊要比D 鼓勵小朋友

我囡都係中文小學上，小學時都係A同B之間，升中前的暑假比佢返咗D英文數，而家成績都OK！

其實我地細個時咪又係大部份都係讀中文小學, 仲要當時的英文科比而家的仲要淺, 咁我地都係咁樣上英文中學啦.

我小朋友讀普通中文小學升band 1英中,小學英文科分數都9字頭,上到中學都有8字頭,
其他用英文教的科目都試過有8-9字頭,上到中學反而中文科仲難攞分..未試過有8字頭,
另外通識都勁難攞分..

小朋友適應能力很強 , 只要底子不太差又肯用功便不用太擔心 , 樓主小朋友英文大概在拿A的邊緣 , 就更加不用怕 .

it should be okay. actually depends haha. if it is a school which teaches all the subjects in eng and has a good atmosphere filled with eng, it should be ok.
Better read more Eng book.
Wimpy kid is a very good choose for a form 1 student, its a very funny book and my child loves it very much haha.
speak more, read more:)

No offence, but I shall not suggest children older than P3 to read Wimpy Kid. It may be funny, but better not read it as an English reading.
