應否由一間有名氣但教得不好的幼稚園轉走?

我仔仔在讀一間大家心目中形象幾好幾有名氣的幼稚園讀，家姐剛畢業，實際上這學校的老師並不教得好，k1和k2都很淺，而k3的功課突然很深，貼近小一水平，而學校又沒有教好，只期望家長去跟。我仔仔比較內向，老師並沒有特別關心他，讀了n1和k1兩年也改善不多。只是校長頗有網絡，考私校直資有點優勢。

現在想為仔仔轉去一間在家附近的幼稚園，價錢差不多貴，同樣有net teachers，還有小班教學，但名氣沒有這麼大。

其實家姐入了一間不錯的男女校小學，弟弟已有保障可直入，但男仔我當然希望他可考更top的小學，名氣不是一切，但也不是不重要，所以真煩惱。

真係頂唔順嗎? 我都識人好似你咁, 入左間所謂出名既幼稚園, 唔鐘意要轉校, 但都唔係K3至轉, 因為對小朋友影響都幾大

我也來到這裹, 原因我都有個細細的, 所以會睇下幼稚園資料, 依你所說, 你仔仔應該k2開學冇耐, 考慮轉校, 我仔仔k2時, 有個女同學下學期3月才轉校過來, 原因是之前的一間是哥哥讀開, 見幾好就俾女女讀, 到個女讀時就因為某些原因覺得間學校的程度淺左, 佢接受唔到, 所以轉左校。補充的是, 她哥哥是讀男校小學, 阿女冇so 的情況下轉走，轉來之後都見佢適應到, 媽媽冇特別投訴咩野。

如果你想小朋友學野, 你可能要在外補下.

如果我小朋友跟唔上我一定會轉, k3都會轉更何況k2, 要小朋友建立自信一定要從做事成功開始, 如果跟唔上會有挫敗感, 就算將來讀書叻識答問題但唔敢舉手有答有咩用?!?

我prefer 個仔入一間村校, 識野少但開心又可以建立自信kg

Based on your post, personally cannot feel the necessary to change kindergarten.  What exactly is the concern?  Are you not satisfied with the teachers teaching?  Or you are not happy with the curriculum design?

First of all, can you be sure if changing to the new kindergarten solve your issues?  The concern here is that your elder daughter has already graduated from this kindergarten so you should have clear idea of this kindergarten.  So, why has it suddenly become a concern to you?  May be there is a change of expectation as you hope to prepare your son better in K2 so he can be better equipped for private/ DSS primary school application in early K3?

At the end, as it often refer to in BK, 識人好過識字, so if the kindergarten principal really have such good relationships to schools you target, then it does help and probably explain their curriculum to suddenly become more advance in K3.  It is because by doing so, kids enjoy 1 more year of relax time in K2, and prepare for transition to P1 during K3 year.

不如你問下小朋友開唔開心,想唔想返學,如果他覺得學校冇人關心佢,我想這對他的成長會有d影響

I think the curriculum design is not organized, if compared to other famous kindergartens.  "Some" teachers just get the job done. My son may be unlucky to have teachers who are not whole-heartedly caring the kids.

When my girl studied there, we realized in K3 that she was not well-equipped for P1 interviews and the school was too loose. Then, we gave her many tutorial classses outside school. Her Maths and Chinese are greatly upgraded by that.  That's why I know I cannot just depend on this kg.

When I asked my son, he felt ok with the school and didn't want to change. He is used to the environment. My question is does it worth to continue paying several thousand to this kg and paying another several thousand to  tutorials?

If change to other KG, are you sure the teachers there are all 'whole-heartedly caring the kids'?  If your son is not lucky enough again, will u change again?  I'm sure every KG, no matter it's famous or not, has teacher who are not that good.

Since your son enjoy the current school life, if change to another new KG, what's your plan to help him to adapt to a totally new environment, teachers and classmates?  Do u think this is an easy task for a 5 yrs old kid?

If I were you, I won't change.  Spending extra amount of money for tutorial seems is the easiest way to settle yr concern.
