Since both is a famous school, I will consider also the location and the school fee.  Which school is near your home?  Do you have any regilious concern?

Moreover, you can visit the school's website and get more understanding about these 2 schools.  It will help you better.  But for me, I think I will choose 協恩.

我會選協恩, 因為2間名氣不相伯仲, 最緊要係唔駛交學費, 每月可節省3千幾元, 可讓小朋友學多些課外活動.

唔該晒各位!其實各方面都係協恩較方便自己!好開心大家意見咁一至喎!其實德望只係call for second interview. 不過我女班主任話以往second in的學生通常都得,而且我諗住如果今晚決定咗咁聽日就直頭唔去 interview. thank you you all.

If I encounter the similar situaion for my daugther years later, I will likely choose Good Hope because Good Hope's standard  is much better .

I am a former student from HYS, and I have a cousin studied in Good Hope before. Although  both schools are famous and are highly respected, their teaching values are different.  Good Hope gives students lots of homework but Heep Yunn provides a good environement for a child to grow up. Heep Yunn focuses on the development of a child, not just academically, but also on creativity and values. Some       people choose Good Hope because of its higher English standard, yet, most graduates of Heep yunn primary will go to Heep Yunn Secondary, which is an English based high school.  For myself, i  left heep yunn after primary school and then went to Canada.  I found myself no problem catching up with English there.       Choosing HY or GH all depends on whether you want your child to do lots of homework everyday or you want her to grow up with memories and well roundedly.  This is my little suggestion, hope it helps.

德望自從成立左家長教師會之後已經冇咁多功課啦,
事實上我識得5位女士今年都已年過40,
2位協恩畢業3位係德望畢業,
論工作能力同英語水平大不相同,
德望畢業既女士都有一個共同點.................英語能力極佳...............其中一個仲嫁埋畀鬼佬...........另一個就上明珠台做節目..............工作方面亦極主動進取,簡直連男同事都要彈開...............
相反協恩畢業個2位同我都係同事...............唔想講人閒話..............你地自己諗啦！

好同意你的分析，HY係政府派位而GH係自已決定收生條件，所以一定會揀d最乎合佢地學校要求的學生，學生知識水平質素必定會好d，不過真係要考慮下F.1-F.7都要交學費，重要越高年班越貴，如應付得來的話我都會揀GH先，但論學生純品度，除左這些TomBoy型之外，我就覺得協恩好似好d，唔係話GH唔好其實都佢地都好純品，只不過要兩者比較我係咁睇姐，因這兩間學校都係我想個女讀的dream school，我會經常留意呢兩間學校d學生而覺得的，其實唔太難揀，負擔得到就GH，唔想呢7年太辛苦就HY啦。

題外話，我覺得另一個topic st.paul vs good hope真係重難揀。

協因同德望都係好學校... 事實德望轉直資後係流失左一d幾叻(通常係PE 好叻果D)的學生... 但亦吸收到一批讀僅成績幾好私立小學但又唔駛計下$$ 的學生 (好多係 TSL, 德雅, 九龍塘小學, 真光..)

兩間其實都好, 但老實英文真係德望程度高小小(兩間d 英文卷我都見過).

稔清楚先啦, 德望上到F6 係要準備 5千一個月學費架. 都唔系少$$架!

另外, 我其實係唔係好鍾意全日制架, 因會無乜時間學野, 練野..比我返工呀媽揀呀, 讀下午校至好, 上午學野又唔駛同人爭.. 晚黑放工食埋飯先教功課, 又唔駛趕... 幾好呀!
