「保良局羅富國校友會小學」好唔好？

「保良局羅富國校友會小學」將會改名為「保良局林文燦英文小學」這所學校好唔好？

I wanna know as well. My daughter is going to have an interview this coming Saturday.

I know it's an English primary school. Chinese is taught in Putonghua while all other subjects (including music) is taught in English. The school fee is about $1000 something per month.

According to a staff from the school, the existing school premise will be used for P1 - P3 students whiles P4 - P6 will have classes in another new school location.

The school principal looks young and energetic and has been interviewed by some magazines.

Anyone knows this school, please comment.

保良局羅富國小學係由津校剎校後變成直資小學 , 我以前係隔離小學讀書, 坦白講學校環境是舊區, 校舍細。P4-P6不是去新的校舍, 而係另一間剎校校舍裝修而成的(近協恩忘記了校名)。

保良局羅富國小學比一般直資小學平宜, 仍然好新, 入讀好坦白係憑信心入到, 冇人可以話一定好或不好的。基本學校的理念很好,只是家長是否願意去嘗試及用信心去比小朋友讀。

網址內有點反面訉息。之後再無update。

我注意了這學校一段時間。校長有教學理念。但難免有點新校舊人事班底的政治問題， 保良局的教育理念亦可能對校長的教學理念有壓力。未知現在情況如何？ 煩請有資料的 BK member update 一下。

P4-P6不是去新的校舍, 而係另一間剎校校舍東莞同鄉會小學裝修而成的。

這校沒有新校舊人事班底的政治問題，因為除校長外, 直資校的老師是重新招聘的 ~
至於教學語言, 中文科及普通話科用普通話, 音樂及 PE 用廣東話, 其他科主要用英語加小量廣東話 ~

我睇佢網頁﹐好似大約得七個老師﹐是嗎？

07-08年度係 2 班小一,  5 個老師加 1 個助教, 其實唔小了 ~

據那位staff說,明天(20/6)下午約3:00pm,已註冊的新生會到校買書簿校服及安排校車事宜等,這staff還叫我去看看和聽聽,可多了解此校o I'll go there to have a look. As regarding the open day next week (for 09/10 admission), I will go as well.

工課不多, 他們會在學校完成大部份, 回家跟他們"汁"漏及跟他們講解一下不明白的地方, 大概一小時完作 ~

Just finished the interview, feeling good about this school. I've paid for the registration fee. Will go back this afternoon to have a look at this school.

在小一新生家長會上,我看到約一半非中國人的家長,他們看似是印巴籍人仕o請問你囡囡現在的同學是否都有很多非中國籍的?他們相處融洽嗎?能成為好朋友嗎?

是的, 囡囡現在的同學很多也是非中國籍的, 比例差不多是 50:50,  他們可以相處融洽, 一起玩, 所以不用擔心; 初開學時曾覺害怕他們很曳, 但其實他們也蠻可愛 ~
~ 提外話, 21 號當日校長是特別往整頭髮的

You were there on 21/6, weren't you? I knew the 校長是特別往整頭髮的 as his hair wasn't like that in the morning on that day.

Now what concerns me most is the qualifications of the English teachers and the teachers teaching Maths and general subjects (常識) in English. The English teachers are native English speakers, aren't they? The Maths and general subjects (常識) teachers are local teachers, aren't they? The Chinese & Putonghua teachers are native Putonghua speakers, aren't they?
