我見教統局都好似話佢地同直資或私學在派位上有聯繫；如果妳在抽獎結果出之前去這些學校留左位，政府會自動取消妳所派的官津學位，所以要留位時問清楚能否去大抽獎，有d私學你留左位唔想妳去抽獎會通知教統局妳在佢地學校註冊留位，當妳入紙抽獎，教統局通知番學校，那學校就當唔要學位(錢都未得退)去抽，小心問清楚，否則兩邊都唔到岸就死火。

大家要分清楚,私校同直資處理係唔一樣的

直資取錄左又交左留位費嘅話,教育局會定佢為已完成分配,如果呢個同學同時被官津取錄,教育局在公佈自行分配結果前係會通知官津校取消佢個學藉,咁官津公佈時係唔會見到呢個同學仔個名。因為佢已被定為"完成分配",所以佢係唔會進入大抽獎階段(即冇得大抽獎)。

私校取錄左又交左留位費係唔會被定為"完成分配"的,而自行分配又被官津取錄嘅話,係會照公佈佢被取錄,如果唔去官津登記就等同冇被取錄,就自動進入大抽獎階段,私校會收到教育局個參加大抽獎名單,咁容唔容許個被取生參加抽獎就間間私校做法唔同,大家問清楚自己考果間喇~

唔好意思,我只係提醒大家問清楚學校仲會唔會強制唔可以大抽獎,因為我自己當年衰過,學校當時真係好執著,係冇情講,交左留位費都冇用,係會沒收嘅,我唔知而家仲係咪一樣,所以提大家問清楚。
至於你呢個問題,我就唔記得我果陣時係之前定後交,穩陣D,都係果句,你向學校問清楚吧!佢冇理由唔答你唶,係咪?!:)

I also have this concern. From the interview letter, RC has clearly stated that the admission result will be announced on/before 11 Nov. That means you may have to decide whether you would take this offer or not well before 28 Nov, that is the announcement day of 自行收生結果 for government/subsidised schools.
This arrangement also puzzles me. In case my son be accepted, should I take this offer. If I take this offer, will I lose the chance of 自行收生 on 28 Nov?

Pls correct me if I have misinterpreted any of the above.

I found teacher has interviewed parents and ask some questions:
1) why do you choose this school ?
2) how to apply 二文三語 on to your son ?
3) where do you go with son on weekends ?
4) what 's your son's strength ?

....

It is not a group interview...is individual.

Hi,

記得仍可參與自行收生，但統一派位則不能。
因為會收到教統局的信要放棄統一派位。若不放棄，
就算交留位費，高主教小學也不會收。

Hi bullbull,

hello ! long time no chat la. do you still remember me ?
My elder son accepted by RC last yr and from my memory, when they sent the offer letter to me, they also attached a reply slip for me to state that we should give up big lucky draw in order to keep our seat in RC. And we have to hand it to school before the date we apply big lucky draw. Finally, we gave up the draw for my son.
Honestly speaking, I don't know too much about RC because my son was transferred to another school after 2 wks in RC. But they use mandarin as  a media to teach Chinese and also good in discipline. My son loves to go to school when he was there.
