Does anyone know why there are no band 1 schools for net 12 listed in 荷花小一天書, 教搜社升小一天書. There should be very good schools as Wah Yan, St Joseph, and Hennessy Gov't which I believe are band 1 schools, right? Are these schools's rating are not as good as before?

唔係掛? 軒官我唔敢包, 不過st jo, 華仁一定係band one啦!!

係荷花本書搵唔到有好多原因既,你冇需懷疑佢地school 既 banding.有d學校係唔學 disclose d 料出嚟架!

我都相信係, 可能學校唔想disclose, 或者唔想做訪問, 無資料咪唔寫lor............

12網都唔靓? 我住係12網三十幾年, 唔洗懷疑個度大部份學校既質素啦. 恕我直言, 坊間個的選校天書, 多數可以唔睇.

唔計41網,12網都算係數一數的靚網,女校有marymount, st.paul, st.francis....,男校有st.jo, wah yan.....,男女校有軒官,而較為無咁"名"都有st.james, 寶血小學..., 它們中學派位大部分都是band 1中學.而且間間小學校風都很好,口碑不錯,點講個網都唔算差.不過間間都是較為傳統的小學,比較注重成績,如果唔係自己杯茶,咁就要多多考慮.

1 more question, Wah Yan Primary Sch seems to be a very small sch, in term of floor area. I understand it is a very good school and hard to enter. But would this affect the development of a kid vs the big ones?

The most honest answer is not "low", but "no chance" in the first round.  But there is always a chance in the lucky draw.

I agree, same story I've heard from my friends.

By the way, is Wah Yan a really small school in terms of floor area?

The chance of 15 points to go to Wah Yan is not high, but I learnt quite some of my friends/colleagues' sons go straight to Wah Yan by placing it as the first choice in the government allocation.

The school work is not as heavy as perceived.

無分別-同一校長.
在華小 6年小學生活中你會有3年是上午, 3年是下午. 所以唔係分上午校 或 下午校 - 係分 A 晝 and B 晝. 在第一次選校時, 只是你希望阿仔第一年(P1)是上午班 或 下午班.

舉例: 06-07年讀 p1(B 晝) 是 上午, 但p2 - p3 是下午, 那(A 晝)p1 是 下午, 但p2-p3 會是上午.

學校好似每年都會有不同安排.
