為何新概念學校不著重英文默書？

我同意，事實上，大部份國際學校小學一樣是每星期有 spelling list。即使是 native speakers，一樣要對 spelling 下一點功夫，spelling 和 grammar 一樣會令老師頭痛。只是，別人看得清 spelling is a means not an end。Assessment 只看 writing, 不會有 dictation，不會以 dictation 把孩子分等級，但絕對會在孩子的功課裡點評要孩子改善 spelling。
