If you are talking about 林大輝 in Shatin, it should be Band 2C (according to Khmama's 2010 information). Unless it has great improvement in the past two years, you may need to reconsider (if your son is Band 1 student).

From another thread, it seems that St Paul College is still recruiting students. Perhaps you may ask to see if they still have places.

Another alternative is St Joseph's Anglo-Chinese School. The school was a famous school in Kwun Tong many years ago. But once they changed to CMI, the school's performance dropped quickly. It is now changing to an English school and would like to be back to band 1. As my friend's son studied in its affiliated primary school, she told me that the school is eager to recruit band 1 students. So, you may try it. It is Band 2B at the moment, but the school has arranged EMI classes. Also, their students are kind and friendly.
