Ha?  Their uniform will "luck 色"?  I haven't washed it yet!  Thanks for telling us.  Sigh.... I agree this uniform arrangement is really disappointing (unlike my impression of LLC in general).  I can't believe they charge $95 for the shorts!

I wish LLC didn't change to the new uniform!  Unless there is some breakthrough after many parents reflect their opinion to the school / PTA, we will have to go to Cheung Sha Wan again for the winter uniform!!!!

I called twice yesterday.  There was nobody answering the phone the first time I called but there was a teacher in the second time.  She said there were people in the school between 9 and 5 Mon to Fri.

BTW, the teacher "reminded" me to send a CD-ROM with the file of my son's photo alongside the 12 photos!  I said I didn't notice this requirement.  But she insisted the school informed us somewhere though many parents overlooked this.  They needed the file to upload onto the internet later.  My question is, so every child has to take a digital photo?!

Did u see the price they charge for the school trip to Poon Yu?  $1,290 for adult & $8xx for children for 2d/1n.  I think it is rather expensive.  Last year it costed us $6xx for each adult (staying at Cheong Loong Hotel) in mid-Autumn festival!  Even if I factor in the costs of some teachers who go with us, it should not be double the cost right?

I won't go to the trip this time because I am expecting my second baby in 2 weeks.  By Nov, my baby is still too small to be left alone with my maid while I bring my son to Cheong Loong.  

LLC really has a lot of activities.  Last night I found a notice about swimming classes!  I wonder how many more will be coming as we can't possibly join them all!

Oh, I missed the 家長會 last night.  Do u mind sharing what they talked about?!  The next meeting for parents is on Sep 9 on PTA right?  Shall we post a reminder to let parents of LLC know what is going on under this thread coz there are so many things going on with LLC!

The swimming classes are held by an org outside of LLC.  The schedule is for Sep to Oct only.  Again, I won't join as I have to prepare for my new born baby due in 2 weeks!

I just got 30 labels with my son's name on yesterday.  Any idea where to sew them on?  We hardly need 30 of them, do we?  I only think of sewing it on his jackets (just 1 or 2) where he may take them off at school!

This thread has subsided for quite a while..... How come suddenly chuchumui & MsChanChan etc. seems upset with someone's opinion?  (P.S. I didn't revisit too many pages back, so I'm scratching my head).

Anyway, I just want to share how pleased I was seeing my son's performance on the stage at the christmas party today.  Though it was just a 2-min performance, I could imagine how much effort the teachers put into it for the parents!  It ain't easy at all to orchestrate all the little monkeys on stage!

Personally, LLC did not disappoint me at all (my son studied there since last Sep).  Thanks MsChanChan for sharing your past experience with me.  I'd rather that my children enjoy school than losing their childhood studying things beyond their age / interest.  For those parents who are really concerned about academics, one can make it up outside school.

One time I was on my way home at 7pm on a Sat, I saw one of my son's teacher walking by herself in CWB.  I could tell from her face she was quite tired.  I bet she just left the school - she was not shopping there (I confirmed with her on the following week).  I have never imagined kindergarten teachers have to work such long & odd hours!!!!  By the way, her child is only 1 year old +!  I really appreciate all the teachers at LLC.  They do put their heart & soul in what they do.  I give them a big salute!!!!

So for those parents who want their children to be happy at school & learn through play, this is no doubt an ideal choice.

Thanks for asking.  I disappeared from BK (not entirely though) because my maid ran away when I was 7 months pregnanat without giving me notice!  My goodness!  I hired another one (who worked for the same employer for 6 years) but she was so disappointing, I terminated her.  Now the maid is ok & last night, her sister came to work for me too.  So I can have my life back!!!!

My son became quite strong-willed nowadays (maybe after his favorite nanny has gone & baby sister was born).  If it is not LLC, I wonder how he will be!

My son is now studying at LLC K1.  I giggled when I saw you writing "我兩位公子在K1時都係傻下傻下，K2還未開竅" as my son is exactly the same!  I do hope my son will "明顯有飛躍的進展" like your 兩位公子!

Did anyone bring your child to the Walkathon yesterday?  I did.  Personally, I was not very happy with the kickoff ceremony - the walk did not start until 10:15am & there were so many people crowding in front of the stage.  But I did appreciate that LLC gave out color ribbons to motivate the children completing the walk & my child was so happy seeing his teachers!

One last thing - at first when I saw our Principal walking back to the entrance with other guests, I thought "I knew they would not complete the walk".  But I was delighted to find that only our Principal (with her driver) walked the other way round.  I believed she did it with the good intention to greet all the students & parents in the opposite direction, otherwise those at the back would not be able to catch up with her at all.  That is very thoughtful of her!

I went to 綠田園 last Sunday.  There were 6 tour buses grouped by different colors.  Basically there was no interaction between different groups (which is ok) & students of the same class were put together in the same group.  There was a coach from 綠田園 that guided us through the whole event.  

We played several things : bake bread / plough a field & sow seeds / pick carrots from the field / make recycled paper.  Each family was given a small plant of strawberry to grow at home.  There was no tuck shop there so each family had to bring our own food.  

My son enjoyed ploughing & picking carrots.  It's quite an experience for children of our time!

If you don't remind me, I almost forgot about the school report!!!!

I went to 余德淳的講座.  Though this is the 3rd time I listened to him & found some things repeated, he is still a very good speaker.  

About 3/12 day camp in MOS, is anyone going?  I am but I hardly have any details yet.  Does anyone know if transportation is included?  If not, is there enough carpark?????

I went to LLC concert too (main school).  Which one is your daughter?  Is it the one who is a little chubby & often waved hand at her parents???  Do u all know which girl I talked about?  She is just so cute!!!  AnLi, I like to know since when did u send your daughter to learn music & arts with LLC?  Did u send her to "O-Fook"?

Sigh....I didn't ask my son which part he liked the most!  See, I really don't know how to create subject to talk to my son - how boring I am!  I plan to go to 5/16 outing as well, but today I receive a notice saying we have to draw lots!  A side question.  Do u sometimes find no time to do all the activities with your son for LLC?!  I am talking about the teeth-brushing exercise!
