Any TKO parents?

My daughter is now studying in P1.  I want to know how many of you changed to take the school bus instead of Mrs Lai.

If changed, how about their services?  Does it takes so long?

Heard from my daughter, your girl has changed to the offical bus. How about the service? What timess are your pick up and drop off at your stop?
I am consider the change next year...

We finally gave up, because of:

1) Pickup time is too early.  Mrs Lai pick up time is 7:25am but schoolbus is 7:08am.

1) Heard from their classmates who changed to schoolbus has been late to school at least twice times.  They have changed to Mrs. Lai started from Oct.

2) Heard from other kindergarten students who lived in our builidngs that they had late to school serveral times even in PM section.  Their returning time also not suitable.  The most terrible is dropped off time at 6:00pm (used to be 5:10pm).  They don't have any call to their parents.

Yes, they can play together.

The 1st term test result of my girl is not very good.  She is no intention to pay effort to fill in the paper!  I'm little bit disappointed coz she can tell me the correct answer!

My girl's Chin and GS results have not received yet. Maths and Eng are so far OK.
Don't worry, that's a term test only. Let's try the best in Jan!

原己為K1可以不理,原來不是
跟着每天同佢温習,玩著地認字,頗有效
但當發現一般学校P1中文程度時,
驚覺應把握KG這幾年好好利用

SPK is training your kid to read one book per day starting from kinder.  If you have spent time in reading the books seriously, I do not think it will be a problem to catch up in primary one.

As I knew, so many parents started to train their students doing the P.1 exercises when they had just started K3.  

The K3 class mistress will remind you to do them after the K3 1st examination.  Personally, I thought it was too late to start in the 2nd term.

Some of the parents started to send the kids to SLL or Cheung's when they started K3 for preparation.  

The first test in P.1 will be very difficult to handle as there will be three comprehensions and 8-10 pages.  Without good preparation, you kid must have no chance to attain a good result.  Some of them can only get 2X-4X marks in the first term test in case they have no preparation.   Only part of the content in the test was from the text books.

無論張來会讀那一間小學,在他們感興趣和認字的黃金時期都應好好的啟導才是. Rickoricko我見你提及K3学初,學校己建議学生做好準備,想必K3階段真不容忽視...

我又觀察到有很多英文小学GS科都是中文教的,SP是英文的,我覺得GS科其實和中文科於小一也相對較難,於GS科有沒有好的学習建議呢.

Dear chingchingfa,

I am considering let my daughter travel by nanny van instead of "MTR" now (因為康城站開了後, 地鐵班次蔬了, 很多時寶琳總站都無位及好逼).

May I ask Mrs Lai's van還需要在藍田轉車嗎?  及請問知不知道TKO 寶林站果頭大約幾點上車出發及回到TKO?
