Can Chi B enter 神科 in CUHK?

Not sure about CU, but I know Chi B is good for HKU law and medicine

A* in GCE AL?? Is there a Chinese subject? Most people take GCE in UK. A* is the highest grade!

If taking GCE AL, he can waive Chinese.
If he taking Chinese..... what program he applied for? Chinese Language ?

I have checked the past papers. The exam papers for Cantonese and Mandarin are the same. I think it is only the diatect used during class that would be different. Most probably, almost all IB schools in Hong Kong would use Mandarin.

讀非本土學制，HKU 和 CUHK 都沒有要求必須讀中文。

我有朋友的親人，自小加拿大成長讀書，早兩年來 CUHK 讀 LAW。他是讀加拿大課程，沒有正式讀過中文。

poonseelai  thanks, where can you find the pass papers?  IBO website?

可問學校老師。
IBO 網頁有少量 sample/past paper  免費下載參考，亦可以向他們購買。
網上都有人放出黎，可以慢慢 search 下。

This is good for we IS parents, though I still want my child to achieve at least Chi B level.

假若組合是English A (HL / SL) + French ab initio, 是否代表與本地大學絕缘？（註:不是target 神級科目。）
海外大學，如英國，收生時怎樣看待ab initio? 當成是其中一科SL?

Even at most IS in HK most students are taking Chi nowadays (including foreigners). Eng plus French ab initio is such a strange combination.

如果將來有機會在香港工作，最好考埋中文，否則政府工必定無份。

St Stephen is a local school, now adds ib as a choice for students. The school offers Eng A, Chinese A; Eng B, French ab initio as langauges choices. Assuming a student choose Eng A, the other langauge will be either Chi A or French ab initio only. It might be too hard if a student is weak in Chinese, but there will be no other choice except French ab initio.
