張祝珊 s1-at 平均 near (中85; 英90; 數: 90分).
皇仁 : (中70; 英80; 數: 85分)
民生: (中67; 英75; 數: 80分)
庇理羅士: (中69; 英78; 數: 80分)
筲箕灣官立中學 (中68; 英69; 數: 75分)
中華基金中學 (中57; 英60; 數: 64分)

中英數既分數係唔係指各中學中一生既average分數呀?

想問問樓主，張祝珊的中文科成績是否應該是85分而不是75分呢。
點解張祝珊的分數較其他學校高這麼多？這個是平均分，還是最高的分數呢？

這些數據代表該校收取之中一學生在中一入學前香港學科測驗之百分位數，百分位數愈高代表該校學生的表現愈好。

從這些數據，顯示張祝珊係一間Band 1頭的中學，難怪它的學生公開考試平均成績同入大學率都咁好。

有D唔明點解張祝珊的Pre S1成績可以咁標青，居然高過皇仁、庇理羅士這些頂級名校那麼多。
自行就可以揀卒啫，統一派位派入去都咁勁？

QC, BPS have associated government primary schools, they have priority no matter their standards are in terms of rank order,.
For CCSC, self discretion is based on rank order list, ECA, conduct and achievement. All lucky draw candidates are Band 1 students. The quality of students are 100% Band 1, particularly for self discretion seats are territory wide top top Band 1.

樓主, 你用緊不相同的標準去比較喎, 你睇清楚張祝珊個係乜嘢數, 都係twcho心水清, 大家唔好贊得咁快張祝珊住!

其它學校寫的是Mean score or average score，張祝珊寫的是Percentile，統計學上的不同表達方法。

redkoni 你好.

張祝珊這兩年的school annual report 裹面的Pre-S1 HKAT成績靜靜雞轉化咗做percentile score去展示, 其他學校個個用自己average去比較territory-wide average, 咁佢一個數睇落咪好似好勁咁囉, 你之前問過我關於港島民生, 我唔知你會比較埋張祝珊的數字.

舉個例, 佢哋2011的中文科85% percentile score, 即是高過85%的全港學生, 這並不是平均85分.

Even though the using of statistical terms may caused confusion, from my observation, CCSC is a very consistent and excellent academic performance school, the variability of students is pretty low. Really performing 拔尖補底, not promote 10A ..........

The percentile score of a subject is actually provided by the EDB after adjustment of the averages of that subject among all schools in HK. In other words, it represents the ranking of the school in that subject among all in HK.
