I live in Kowloon side also. I leave home with my son everyday around 7:30 pm (the latest).

To me its alright, as it makes no difference for me between travelling to Chan Wai/Central or Kowloon ...

想問吓高主教會不會好"谷", 因為有朋友話高主教"谷到飛起", 功課多和好深. 未讀都比佢哋嚇死我.

而有些親友就叫我不要再考慮, 一定是高主教最好.

高主教沒有精英班，功課多但壓力不大。中文用普通話教授，
有英文常識，英文數；上到英中會較容易適應。
有直屬英中，直上機會大。

可以到小學綱站看中一派位結果，除了大部份學生升高主教中學，
有16 人派到英皇，其它有St Jo, ...

不會很谷，只是默書、Dictation, 評估較其它學校多些，
但相對來說考試便不會太辛苦，因平時已溫習過。

You know I worry a lot as I am also a working mom. A friend (not RC parents but parent of SP co-ed) keep on reminding me that the syllabus is heavy and difficult. Both the parents and kids are overwhelmed by the heavy workload. Do you think it is really so difficult that the kids can hardly handle by themselves? Do you think parents were under great pressure as well? I know that in some school the parents help to do the project as it was really too difficult and the kids were not benefited druing the whole process. If it is difficult but the kids can handle, I think it is good to set high standard to them.
I am glad to read the good comment about RC but was scared by the comments of my friend. I hope that I cannot hear from RC parents more about the true picture.

Very agree with npMaMa, the only disadvantage is "need to paid".

It is surely a pressure if you need to push your son EVERYDAY on homework, dictation, online reading (etc etc...). Raimondi gives ...

請恕我坦白, 您與其太擔心您孩子讀RC太辛苦, 為什麼您不讓他讀一些您認為他ok, 而您又會feel comfortable的學校呢? 凡事不用太勉強.

Dear ononprincess,
May be your suggestions are words of wisdom. However, as a responsible mother, I would like to try my very best to ask more and learn more before I could judge it's ok for him or not. I don't want to regret later if I make a wrong decision just because I want to feel more confortable now.

Would I invite more RC parents to share their words of wisdom to me and to others who are serious in the future education of their kids?
