Actually, when my son is 6 months, he used Phonics Kids and then buy Phonics Kingdom ( higher level) for his learning. Now, he 3 years old. He can speak out the new word by himself that does not see before.

So, I think learning phonics is very useful and he can gain a high confidence from the English.

To the Phonic Kids and Phonic Kingdom difference, Phonics Kingdom has more 生字．But I like Phonics Kids more since the picture and words arrangement is clear and better. But Phonics kids has 3 books only. If you want to upgrade your phonics, you must buy phonics kingdom.

ChunYat,講得沒錯很實在。其實兩套是各有特式，phonics kids 是幾得意，因為有些歌仔，個小朋友把聲好cute, 是台灣出，但係個小朋友發音就真係麻麻，因為係台灣人，不過勝在夠平，如果你想比小朋友接觸下當娛樂未嘗不可是個選擇。
而 Phonics kingdom的賣點是發音準和較有系統，係香港GC自己出版，係外國人錄音，學的生字和example都多好多，如果你想小朋友學phonics同發音準那當然後者會適合，所以要在乎你的需要，如果你驚難我想應該不會吧！而且GC有教材使用工作坊，你亦可以打電話去問，坦白講我就係乜都問個個，因為我真係唔識，所以都係打爛沙盤問都督

我兩套都有，不過早排已經二手賣左Kids啦，好似幫我買個位媽咪就話當歌仔比亞囡聽下先，遲些覺得個囡有興趣先買kingdom，我都無欺騙佢架，我有講明點解要賣，我個大女都係學 kids 先，後來GC出左先買Kingdom，所以我個細仔都無睇過kids，而家一歲啦，真係識讀好多音，仲好準，講真係比家姐好好多，因為家姐太遲起步啦。
不過我覺得你可以帶小朋友去睇下先，同埋你係想達到的目的是甚麼，兩套係商務都有賣架，又唔洗比人sale，憑自己喜歡去揀就ok啦，最緊要都係有用的。

八個月0吾早, 我囝囝初初出世就只係聽, 到六個月就開始睇, 佢語言發展真係好好架. 不過Phonics Kid 發音真係有問題. 我現在只用Phonic Kingdom.

Hi 子健&媽媽,

Sorry for the late reply.

Actually, I think it is a little bit late to let your son learn the phonics. As a 4 years old child, he should know letter A-Z and some words. Whether phonics kids / kingdom, the book 1 does not suitable for him which is learning letter A-Z. Book2 is learnt the sound of A-Z. Book3 is learnt the phonics with vowels. If he looks the book 2, he may feel boring. If jump to book 3, it may be too difficult to him since he does not have the foundation.

But anyway, I suggest you can take him to the book store first at a glance. And for trial, you can buy Phonics kids since the price is cheaper.
