I'm HYS old girl since kindergarten. HYS is all rounded in Sports, Music and languages. All girls must know how to swim. They used to compete with DGS for swimming and Good Hope for athletics. They don't encourage students to just focus on studies. Besides, it's better in Arts subject than Science subjects. The school environment is quite nice. There's a chapel inside the school, plus all other basic facilities. Lots of flowers and trees. But the swimming pool is a bit small. They have fun fair and concert every year. Heep Yunn girls are used to be independent and strong, but to be frank are not very lady-like.
I'm not sure if they have school buses that go to HK side. But it's convenient as it's close to Hung Hom Harbour Tunnel and there are many bus stops nearby. You only need to bother how to bring your girl to school in primary school but no worries when she goes to secondary school. |
