其實我哋每日都用緊，例如：
天文台預計未來幾日既天氣；
你出門口帶唔帶雨遮；
去大陸時，百度地圖教你點用最快既方法去你想去既地方；
你既手機提醒你返屋企需要幾多時間；
定機票之後會收到Agoda既酒店優惠資料...等等。
其實背後都係大資料。

数据也是資產。網上見到中国貴州成立大数据交易所。
如何運用数据，也应該是運用資産的方法。

大数据未来發展如何，自已是門外汉，一知半解。
不段留意有关資訊。

二十多年未見船民了。今天，電視新聞又再見緬甸有難民坐船出海逃難。

王家爸爸，請問做相關職業的，是否很辛苦呢？不久前，認識了在consultant firm 做big data 的朋友，他已經入行超過20 年，仍然是每天只能睡4小時。不知道行內人是否大多也是這樣？

是每天。我有點好奇，所以想問問行內人。亦有可能是因為他在big data 的龍頭工作，才會這樣。

I don't believe in that, certain period, yes. Not everyday.

He can hire more people or outsource some of the tasks, no point to damage personal health.

同意，好似百X超市用易賞錢，攞哂你家庭嘅消費模式數據，留意每項物品嘅價格升跌你對供求嘅反應，睇吓點加價賺到你盡，以爲有積分好着數。

近年多數用 Google Analytics，而且係自動 extract 啲資料。

易賞錢除咗可以做 Other People Also Bought 既 algorithm 外，仲可以知道唔同 Income Bracket 既人既購買模式做 Market Segmentation 同 Target Marketing，如果用得好，更可以做埋Personalized Customer Service，又可以計算 Demand Curve 賺到盡。真係可以好有用，可是佢哋無善用啲資料。

可能由於他在consultant 龍頭做，每個task 包括去各地client 做研究，分析，將資料數據化，整model, 好似要做埋program, 面對客戶解釋。他說好難請人，公司要求好高，名大學畢業也未必請，要睇character .每個task 可能要做幾個月

I see, not a team leader, can be very tough.

I was a management consultant - partner before, I quitted and back to industry because of life balance.

Earn some money, gain experience and connections, move on something more interesting.
