My son transferred from St. Paul Boys Primary School to Island
School year 8 last year. He needed a few weeks to adjust himself to the English-speaking environment. He luckily made 3-4 friends ,mainly Hongkongese and Japanesea few months later. Since the friends he hangs around are mostly Asians, the parents are quite strict. To my surprise, someof his East Indian,Japanese and Korean schoolmates attend private tutorial at weekend. I usually contact the form teacher so I don't know much about the prrincipal. My son told me some kids played computer games during class butvthey usually sit at the back of the class. In general, the students I met during parents' day are very polite and cheerful. However, the school will be relocated to Taiwai in the coming future as they will rebuild the school. |
