Sorry, I have no info to York, so cannot give any comment.
My daughter now in RHS K2.  Yes, I also think the school curriculum 確係幾深下，而我的小朋友日日都鍾意返學同老師同學仔玩。

For me, I am very impressed that my kid can absorb and learn the school things (it really surprises me that she can at home to speak some English phrases voluntarily with accent to me (but actually I only speak Cantonese with her at home), PTH & sing Spanish songs (school will give us a Spanish CD - songs to bring home to listen)).  Teacher resources are sufficient for net teachers (Eng，PTH，蒙特梭利 & Spanish).

My class teacher is kind, responsible & 細心 to kids & parents.  It's a good way of mutual communication because we can email / whatsapps class teacher, if necessary.  Teacher is kind to talk to parents about the strengths / what other areas that we can help the kid make improvement & teach us the way to encourage the small kid.  Teacher helps a lot to train up the kid, and school has good training on moral education in school.

Refer to our school calendar, this year K1 application date on 19/10, while interview dates on 2 & 9 Nov.

Just some sharing please.

謝謝你的分享, 其實我都好喜歡RHS, 課程確是好豐富。我BB依家剛讀緊 RHS PN, (RHS都好好), 同時有York K1 Offer, 諗緊K1轉唔轉去York好, 因我想考直資和私小, 聽說RHS多是靠大抽獎(but I am not sure), 但我只得15分, 自行和大抽獎都唔放太大期望。所以好想了解清楚才決定, 請問K2多唔多功課??

I think the dates for PN should be the same for KG that I already mentioned (because no specific mention about PN in our calendar).

Actually, for myself, I think the course and teaching in RHS is comprehensive and diversified.  The language environment is quite good that kids can learn 4 languages (Cantonese, English, PTH & Spanish).  My kid likes to go to school everyday.

I don't know the figure and result as to how many k3 students will go to Govt schools, other DSS/private schools or RHS primary section.  But it is easy to understand that for those students already live in net 12, they will have a higher chance to win and get a good school through the Govt lucky draw.  I think the overall ability and standard of RHS students should be ok and satisfactory.

Since it's just the start of K2, there is no homework for my kid for the time being.

Kind advice, I think you should spare some time to find more info on York so that you can decide early whether you want your kid to study in York or RHS.  Just some sharing please.
