I will also eliminate the APS.

Since APS will count the music intruments marks of which would affect the marks/ranking of kids. For my personal opinion, if chidlren not having much talent in music side would be a bit unfair. So I will choose SFA, SFA also encourage students learning musical instrument but at least it won't affect the overall marks of the kids.

What is SSAP ? Could you elaborate it more ?

I don't know actually, maybe it is SSPA - Secondary school place allocation.

I don't know APS...

I am the graduate of SFA secondary school where most of students come from SFA primary.

They all don't like SFA secondary...They all said they were not happy with this school.... All the knowledge crams into your brain... That's all...

SFA今年的小一功課比以前小了很多，有家長就此
向校長詢問，校長話，想多一點網上功課（不想
太多抄寫），和給小朋友多些時間參予課外活動。
（評心而論，2nd term的功課量，真係小了很多，
可能在1st term大人和小朋友都適應了），最近
好多時，放學後回到家，都沒有功課做的，因為
大多都能在class teacher lesson完成晒的。

My son is a new student of SFA. He's been studying in SFA for just 2 weeks. I can tell you he loves the new school life very much. All the teachers are very kind to him. My son's english cursive writing is not up to the standard. And he did really bad in the first english dictation, but the english teacher still gave him a sweet to encourge him. My son said that SFA's curriculum and the teaching method is much more interesting than that of his old school. Even the curriculum is more difficult , he likes the challenge.

I feel that the learning atmosphere is great in SFA. His classmates really love reading. In the school library, a classmate introduced his favourite book, Amazon of magic tree house series, to my son. My son is very happy because he also loves magic tree house series. I think SFA requires student's hard work, but SFA is not harsh.

SFA just pays lip service to the gifted education- no concrete result. But its standard is really high.

APS too commercial in music training but excellent secondary school allocation result like SFA and supreme music reputation.

In long term, SFA is better than APS for its intrinsic value.
