小女現就讀培正小三,德望收了小四插班,究竟應唔應該轉?擔心跟不上. 希望各媽媽俾啲意見!!

Agreed. My son also transferred from 培正 after P.3 to another primary school due to the same concern.

都係多左GS用英文和英數. 英數佔數學科10%, 中數是90%. 最多幫幫佢d GS生字. 我唔知培正英文科程度... 如果小朋友平日都有興趣睇英文課外書, 都ok. 中文都深, 相信培正的小朋友可以應付. 睇你地有幾喜歡英中和轉校的決心.

thks all your advise. Actually my daughter got quite good results in Pui Ching Both in acadamic and sport as well and also she felt happy to go school. Just worry about whether she can adapt to the new school or not!

Did you son studied PUI CHING from kindergarten?
Why U decided to change?After transfer to other primary school did your son felt good or not? any difficulties?

I think you have the answer already. Once you have apply GS. That means you like GS more than Pui Ching.

My son actually transferred to Pui Ching Primary due to the fact that it's associated with Pui Ching Secondary. After the transfer, we found that the English level in Pui Ching Primary is very insufficient. I also have to agree that Chinese subject is very strong there. After serious consideration, we have transferred him to another primary with an associated English-based secondary school. My son was very happy in this new primary school. He's now studying in the associated English-based secondary school too.

If I am you, I will change to Good Hope, Pui Ching is Chinese Secondary School, the competitive is not strength as English Secondary.
