If you read the editorial from SCMP, they critisied AC's audit on DSS schools is not professional enough. I echoed that as how can you audit the DSS by using the govt and subsidised school guidelines. Can you tell me any DSS guidelines at all? I doubt it.

An classic example, how can a new school have old boys or girls in the SMC, as the graduates are minors or even no gradiates yet........

Messy DSS and or Lousy EDB and AC.......

Yes, quite obviously, many who could not manage to get a place in their favoured DSS may tend to blame the whole education system as unfair, the local primary/secondary school allocation mechanism as absurd, the management/teaching staff of the famous school as unreasonable.
If this "DSS scandal" can really put off their inner fire and reduce the bitterness of these parents, let them go!!Let these parents get comforted by riding on the crisis.
Let us keep our minds and hearts clear, and be positive and constructive!!

Maybe they went through the DSS application process and could not secure a place because of the high thresholds. I don't know how many attacks are from these parents, but there are certainly some who ...

Can't agree more, not only we parents. all the teachers, principals, goverment officers should take this "DSS scandal" to review closely what education is about. Is it really like running a business? Education is concerning the future of a human being, a society, a country and eventually the world.
Schools are to help their STUDENTS to attain their full potentials so as to fulfill their individual dreams but not to use the STUDENTS to achieve the educators' dreams or missions . None of the STUDENTS is expendable or disposable. Goverment officiers should make sure that our education systems and the staff really allow each kid to be duly educated.

反對。雖然我有餘錢帮孩子交学費，但我都渴望得到政府的資助。大家都係納稅人，得到政府資助天經地義。

唔通在香港，只能接受大窩飯教育？我又冇話要多啲資助，我只希望得到多點自由，咸鱼青菜也好，大鱼大肉也好，只要自己滿意就得啦。有啲人仲意呢大窩飯，吃飽佢啦，我地喜歡咸鱼青菜或大鱼大肉，又關佢咩事呢？

話是話，大窩飯係唔係更有問題呢？

的而且確,有些指控是幾攪笑的,但不能憑此而否定所有其他嚴重的指控.

原意是好,但當被一些人濫用的時候,確有檢討的必要.

建議你買一本小一入學天書 (星島，明報，蘋果都有出書，仲有其他人寫o既)，裡面有學費資料，直資學校唔多，要做功課搵料唔會徙你好多時間。

肯定有!之想報過一間係深水步直資, 教育網既學費資料是$1500, 佢果年小一已收$2900, 校長講過有加學費的壓力, 因為通脹喎!不過三年前既通脹都不很利害, E+不知加了幾多, 據讀緊D家長講, 佢地係年年加幾百. 值唔值係另一回事, 但教處係年年批, 此直資小學已第7年, 由開業第一年已加近幾倍.
