Ic. just curious, then what is her insurance choice? did she apply for unis in HK ?

Edinburgh. She got offers from UST and HKU but on Business. So both declined as she isn't going for the business field now.

Because for chemistry, she only goes for uk university but she wanted to test out herself in the local universities by applying to the more competitive course. So she applied to UST & HKU. Yes, interesting thought.

想問吓如出成績真的meet唔到自己D requirements,但有報hku， cu non Jupas,
可唔可以轉第二科低D requirements 嘅科？

Near miss call and email the U once u get the result and ask whether tge U will still accept u.

If it is a near miss, university will consider ur case by looking at the raw score. However, you need to ask yr son's school to help. My daughter already recieve communication info about the process of near miss case. Like Poonseelai said, call university and ask yr school to help.
