Cardiff法學院OK，名聲及排名略高於Liverpool。

｢如要你排RC嘅大學排位，你會點排？｣唔清楚你想要那類排位，請再說清楚一點。

LNAT有得操。香港一些升學顧問有開設LNAT補習班，亦有好多英國｢雞精｣書同網上練習。LNAT分兩部份，第1部份係MC，會有成績通知，不過考生最快要到2月先知，對報大學無乜幫助，只係知點解LNAT大學唔出OFFER俾你。第2部份係Essay，唔會有評分，但傳聞好多一線大學都會睇考生寫成點。過去幾年LNAT嘅平均分係21-22左右，一線大學多數要24或以上。

謝謝你的讚賞！我做英國留學的資料蒐集，除了因為兒子需要赴英留學外，亦因為近年有不少親友打算送子女到英國升學，找我做｢盲公竹｣，所以不得不多做點功課。身為過來人，明白父母因為子女留學所面對的焦慮和徬徨，在此分享個人小小的資料和意見，希望對大家有些小幫助。

我囝囝今年已是Law Final Year，宜家係英國大學宿舍同圖書館讀到天昏地暗！

以下是我就Russell Group (RG)大學法律學院所作的排序，除考慮英國大學法律學院(請留意，不是大學的整體排名)在Complete University Guide 、Good University Guide和 the Guradian的排名外，還參考了Student Chamber的畢業生和僱主調查。24所RG Law Schools中，Imperial College London無法律課程，Edingburgh同Glassgow讀4年蘇格蘭法律，所以無放呢3間入去。同一級別的先後只是按字母排列，無明顯優劣之分。

頂級：Cambridge,Oxford
一級：Bristol,Durham,King's College London (KCL),LSE,Nottingham,University College London (UCL)
二級：Birmingham,Manchester,Queen Mary University of London,Warwick
三級：Exeter,Newcastle,Sheffield,Southampton
四級：Cardiff,Leeds,Liverpool,Queen's University Belfast,York

以上Bristol,Durham,KCL,Nottingham,Oxford同UCL要考LNAT。

LSE入學競爭超激烈，因為學位較少，有人說比Oxbridge仲難考入，近一、兩年收生率低過20%。有意一搏請囡囡要加把勁，AL最少要A*AA。

不過想知道如果到最後都沒有offer，咁ICL會唔會出番一封正式的reject信？因為好似一日收唔齊5個choices的回覆，一日都不可以選firm and insurance choice，或另選其他課程代替不成功的申請。我這樣理解對嗎？

Other than the predicted grade (at least A*AA), the personal statement is the key as the school has no interview and LNAT. In 2014, there were 187 places and 2692 applications.

阿仔15-11-2016提交經ucas 5個CHOICES的申請，其中Leeds的Mechanical Engineering 的MEng 4年課程於28-11-2016收到CO，大至如下：

Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education in 6 subjects with minimum grades of 3 in each subject. Grades 5*55 including Extended Maths, the 5* must be in either Mathematics or Physics.

So your son takes 4+2? I heard that UK universities will only accept students who take 3 electives.

4 cores + 3 Electives +M2

3 electives are Chemistry, Physics and Geography

As many people have already mentioned, PS is one of the key factor when applying those top UK universities (like ICL). Wonder how one can write an impressive PS with full passion and determination into that subject he intend to apply if he was using that PS to apply 2 different subjects. Besides admission officers know applicant who are applying 2 different programs under same faculty. For this, why they will consider you while some many other outstanding applicants from all over the world for their consideration.

I know PS is very important and it's best to be single minded and focus on one subject. But I thought civil and mechanical engineering very similar under the engineering roof? Some universities like Cambridge offer general engineering for the first 2 years as they appreciate that some students may not have made up their mind to narrow down to a specific stream?

Sorry I really want to understand more on this as my son is exactly not certain about what science/engineering stream he would like to apply for. Therefore he now opts for natural science or general engineering. He will apply to universities in 2018. Thanks again.

資料十分正確和多謝你既寶貴意見！相信你仔仔一定是一名叻仔,祝他前途似錦！咁佢係咪要每年係英國都要考一個convert試or 三年後先返嚟考？其實讀law真係一條好難行嘅路，努力讀都未必一定有成績，PCLL又難考，有要跟得一個好師父，入到大firm先容易行！可能最後讀得咁辛苦，都未必入得返呢行！另外，
如果我放一間A*AA, 三間AAA,一間AAB好or
AAA三間，二間ABB好！真的好擔心最後跌入clearing！pls comment on Bristol & Durham, 如去考LNAT,值得嗎？Durham 同Bristol 收生率高嗎？聽説Birmingham 有收AAB,機會大嗎？其實大部分AAA D大學如果比左CO,成績出可能欠一個grade, 多唔多降低收生成績，有冇得傾？可以pm介紹我讀好LNAT雞精班嗎？thanks again

That's the case of my son that he got interest in both Mechanical and Engineering course but he can't make a firmly decision on which one at the moment. So he just shown his general engineering interest in PS, and also expressed that he always keep an open mind to discover different engineering field, something like that.
