well i don't often hear transfer-of-major in HKU a lot...but quite a lot in CUHK. generally u need good GPA (3.3+ is safe I think), you should have good grades in the courses of the major you'd like to transfer to, letter of recommendations from professors in your original major/major you'd intend to transfer, and maybe a strong personal statement. normally there should be interview if they think u are okay with their standard.
4. is highly suggested because friends of mine had tried this and this can give the prof good impression/eagerness. but don't screw it up, first impression is important. good luck. |
