I think all the real international schools allow students to "date publicly" at school. My son's school has quite some students having boy/girl friends.

拍拖係國際學校是普遍現象嗎？自己小孩還小，不過我覺得潮流是越來越早，即使本地學校也是。家長灌輸正確性知識和戀愛態度好重要。有無其他家長（孩子已經中學）可分享一下？

什麼為之「公然拍拖」？如果無做出親密行為，其實即使local school都管吾到，在街上，都經常見到中學生拍拖。

社會開放咗，小朋友早熟咗，家中有女初長成，係會擔心，從小教育會好d。

哈, 呢個我真係可以分享. 阿仔讀IS, 升grade 11時, 我怕他拍拖會分心, 跟他說高中最後兩年最好專心學業, 唔好咁早拍拖, 最好等到入大學至拍. 我仔答 :"媽咪, 早?? 你知唔知我有些同學已在談論ex了." 不過, 他整個中學階段, 還是沒拍拖, 但一入到大學, 大一下學期就交了女朋友, 是同學院同系的, 至今是大二下學期, 兩人交往看來相當穩定.
不過, 話雖如此, 阿仔讀IS期間, 身邊有拍拖的同學, 按比例來說, 其實不算多, 來來去去就是那三兩對. 大部份同學, 連拍拖的那幾個也是, 都是喜歡聚在一起參與各類活動. 又有次還很有趣, grade 11, IB的第一年, 有人把情人節那天一位男同學在班內向另一位女同學告白的片段放上FB, 那位男同學說了幾句話, 最終一句是: "XXX, 我喜歡你", 然後上前送了份小禮物給女同學. 跟著全班同學一起起哄, 畫面還一直拍到班主任老師在旁笑咪咪地看著整個過程. 我看了這段視頻, 覺得好健康, 好sweet.

從來沒有學校可以禁止學生拍拖, 但公然在校內攬及拖手, 在低會級的小學生看在眼裏會否有影響呢.

I do not agree all real International schools openly allow "dating publicly", at least not at my daugther's school, which is a Christian International School.

其實就算係本地名校男女校都一定有同學會拍拖，就算修女女校，都有女仔同女仔拍拖。
不過我都會盡量叫我女大學先拍,同到時會捉佢去箍牙，又吾會比佢配contact lens, 應該冇人吼

RC課程跳躍大，會讓某些家長摸不到頭緒，只有求助課外補習。

RC 是 IB 學校，小學教學模式跟隨英美加主流方式，行「班老師制」，除了 special class (如 pe, music, art, 中文 etc)外，都是 class teacher 一個負責教，另每級有 teaching assistants 幫手。
其實如果家長多留意學校 website 和老師發的 email，都會知道小朋友學甚麼。有疑問，可 email 老師，老師大都十分勤勞，我試過很多次傍晚 6 時後 send email 給老師，他們晚上 10 時 11 時也覆。
當年小兒在小學部，了解過老師如何做 assessment ，評估學生的水評。老師將小兒做過的評估 paper 給我看，原來是是十分有系統和十分科學化的，由 reading, writing, spelling, etc, 甚至 math ，都是有採用外國 (probably from australis) 的評估系統，每個評估白紙黑字，公平公正。原來小朋友每天在學校大半天，不是哈哈哈就算。

Still class teacher system in Secondary?

Secondary section using home room teacher system (we call them advisors instead of home room teachers). Students go to advisors first thing in the morning. Then students go to subject teachers for classes.

(In Primary) 其實學校有Year Level Weebly 及Class blog, 講得好清楚每個unit of enquiry係教乜同埋會做乜, 中文都有Weebly, 小朋友定期會拎portfolio番屋企同家長分享佢地係學校嘅class work, 只要家長肯睇, 冇理由唔知教乜. 但如家長有local school mindset, 希望佢地日日有text book或work sheets拎番屋企, 咁就冇辦法.

A few years back, in primary school, we used to get the information mainly by email transmission. Good to know that they have improved the way of communicating with parents. So now, the resources and information can be accessed all the time.

For secondary section, everything is also on the internet. All school curriculum are also uploaded on a website. Teachers will upload the curriculum outline and resources to the website. Each student has his own login password and he can access all resources of the his own classes. Each family/parent is also given a login password so parents can also look at the curriculum outline. I am amazed any RCHK parent is still complaining he does not know what his child is learning at school.

我對RC給家長的資料和溝通好有信心，容我少少離題：在報云云IS的admission application 過程，school tour arrangement 中，RC資料是最清晰透明度最高的一間! 之前都有人係舊post讚過！
