, 但小朋友唔谷得入到SFA 好辛苦

我這裏也同樣煩惱，我個是男仔，看看去年SFA的升中排位，男仔大概35%升的中學比GT好或者差不多，比例不是很吸引。女仔就不用想了，一定是SFA。

兩間唔同level，點都係SFA好過GT，只係睇您怕唔怕SFA太谷，小朋友會辛苦。講學術一定係SFA。
反而如果係SFA同TSL就真係唔知點揀喇。

TSL很大比例畢業生去顏寶玲書院只是1C而已。
顏寶鈴書院2013DSE,
5級或以上人均：1.07，
4主科4級或以上%: 60.2%
升本地大學率：48.3

GT2013DSE,
5級或以上人均：2.00，
4主科4級或以上%: 65.9%
升本地大學率：56.0

SFA女仔80%以上升Band 1A學校，sure win
男仔只有35%升的中學比GT好或一樣。
男仔升中人數多的象長沙灣天主教中學，瑪利諾神父教會學校，德信中學，何明華會督銀禧中學，2013年DSE都差過GT

In 2014, 35 out of 82 boys are allocated to the following schools which I think are better than GT: -

Wah Yah Kowloon
St Joseph's College
DBS
LS
SPCC
Ying Wa
Sing Yin & etc.

Around 25 got offers from GT or schools at the same level as GT. Overall > 70% boys can get offer from schools above or at GT's level.

In all, if you are conservative and satisfied with the secondary school of GT, choose GT. If you want to take risk and aim at top tier secondary schools, choose SFA.

Who knows what will happen to your kid after 6 years. If you are one of high flyers at GT, you may still aim at other top schools, otherwise, GT secondary is not a bad choice.

Yes. We are calculating based on the same data. 40% around higher than GT, 30% around=GT, 30% around lower than GT.
The Secondary schools which are better than GT ratio is 34/82=41%
(ST joseph 11+WAH Yan 10 +DBS 7 +LA 3 +ST Paul co-edu 2+ Ying Wa 1)=34
This ratio is still not attracting enough to dominate GT Since there is till 30% SFT boys went to Secondary schools lower than GT.
For the best students in GT primary division, they will also transfer the top secondary school. If the transfer ratio is 20%, then the distribution ratio will be 20% higher than GT and the left 80% =GT.

有朋友個大仔讀SFA, 細女讀GT.
她說SFA 是辛苦得來(谷)的成績; 而GT是"較"輕鬆學習得此成績.
就是看你小朋友係受傳統教定活D教. 選對了合適自己的學校,
成績才會好. 其實過來人經驗, 家長自已可放幾多時間去溫習做功課?
這個問題也要考慮.
