1-5是水平參照評分，但是5*, 5**是拉curve的。

水平參照等同平時學校內考試你考到例如89分就到A，79分就B，有個特定的分數距離。但由79分去89分是難的。
相反拉curve的分數等級可以係好窄，有機會69分B，75分已經A。

除了分數上的距離拉窄了，同學之間的水平亦是影響因素之一。在所謂的名校當中，同學間的競爭是相當犀利，同學間的成績水平不但高，還平均，他們大部份同學的成績一路都可以徘徊在5級或以上的層次，一但拉curve的話，好容易會因分數較好少少而跳上更高一級。你看看皇仁和SPCC今年比到你啟示係佢地能拿取590幾個和6百零幾個5級成績以上的成績你就知道。聽聞有學校成績不太好的同學還可以有一個5**幾個5*以上的成績，是好多學校全校最好的同學都拿不到的成績。

因為家長唔想小朋友太多挫敗感，於是用水平對照 - 提升合格比率，例如要80%英文2級或以上，所以2級的實際分數是23-29分，3可能是30-34....... 如此類推。
可能到5級只是58分或以上。5級以上又跟HKAL差不多，只有1-3%是5**，3-7%是5*，於是分數要65-75先係5*，75或以上是5**。作用是合格容易左，要高分入到大學都是跟HKAL差不多。

正因如此，部份雇主要睇卷及要了解每級的分數，避免請錯人。可能將來是3級勉強等同會考E級，又或者輕微高過或低於會考E級。

ohnono 一語中的，top學校考入U的機會最終會比部份高3322%的普通學校高，因為水平評分標準及大學收生標準有些落差。

大家會問點解跟AL差唔多，因為唔係咁，外國大學點承認你的資格。還有大學課程除了學術評審，專業學科要專業評審，同時要雙邊互認，不是教育局及大學說了算。專業團體對讀多一年大學，對Major Credit 沒有增加，反而讀少一年F7是有微言或強力批評，因為會累街坊 ........ 令部份專業人士喪失互認資格。

Determination of Level 5** and Level 5*

The cut scores for Level 5** and Level 5* will be set with reference to the percentage in mark distribution so that Level 5** will be awarded to the highest-achieving 10% (approximately) of Level 5 candidates and Level 5* will be awarded to the next highest-achieving 30% (approximately) of Level 5 candidates.

該學科所有按水平參照而考獲5級或以上的考生，把其分數分布再設定5** 及 5* 的cut-off scores，目的是把所有考獲5級或以上的考生，按其排名區分首10%為5**級，次30%為5*級。

For Chinese Language and English Language, the overall subjectcut score for Level 5** and Level 5* will be set first. The corresponding cut scores for each component will then be determined by exploration and negotiation across the components in such a way that they represent a similar profile of division within level 5 for each component. However, the cut scores established for each component will still aggregate to achieve the correct corresponding subject cutscores for level 5** and level 5*.

For Combined Science, the cut scores of the individual components of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics will be determined with reference to the cutscores of the corresponding subjects using the equipercentile method. The cut score for level 5** and level5* for each half subject will be determined by applying the above-mentioned percentages to Level 5 candidates. The half subject cut scores will then be aggregated to obtain the subject cut scoresfor each subject pairing of Combined Science. In other words, the respective percentage of Level 5 candidates attaining subject levels 5** and 5* in Combined Science may not necessarily be 10% and 30% as in other subjects.

換句話說，該學科每年有幾多5**及5*，仍然是取決於考生的整體成績水平，如果考生的整體成績水平差強人意，連5級都買少見少，又何況5**及5*！。不知我是否理解錯誤，有錯請指正。

換句話說，該學科每年有幾多5**及5*，仍然是取決於考生的整體成績水平，如果考生的整體成績水平差強人意，連5級都買少見少，又何況5**及5*！。不知我是否理解錯誤，有錯請指正。

絕對數字會少些，但都是會有10%，及30%，比例是不變的。

100個5級，10個5**, 30個5*，餘下60個5級。

50個5級，5個5**，15個5*，餘下30個5級。

若果成績太差，我估算會下調5級的水平，事實會將5的數目由50提升至80一90人。

只是有高人指點，他們明白考評局諗繄d乜。我明白大學的專業評審，所以有第一手資料。
一年多前我跟eviepa討論DSE會接近AL或HKCEE，現在大家都會認知我的分析及資料是正確的。

嘩, 咁考評局迷有好多空間去manipulate合格率和人數?除5*和5**外,不同年份的 1-5 gradeb和其学術水平可以有很大差異, 咁边有參考或比較價值!

多謝你的資料，你是否找到DSE跟AL的分較表。較早前我找不到，請指教。
DSE是有兩重意義，成績較隹者用作投考大學，不論本地及海外。另一目的是等同中學完成証明書，作其餘升學及就業之用。

如果只捉供跟會考比較，而沒有跟高考比較，似乎不合常理，莫非有.........

正因如此的偏向性發佈，令大部分學校只能用會考作比對，所以他們自我downgrade到會考程度作比較，而不能以高考等級作比較，再次誤導大眾。
