我覺得林校長揀選喜歡閱讀習慣學生,想日後能使學校充滿閱讀氣氛,可唔單止在運動,音樂還可在閱讀環境推動下,使學生全面發展,文武全才。但我本人不太清楚學校在閱讀方面提倡,因此想了解多一些!

Hello, liktin, I would like to ask that did your son borrow the book from YW school or from library?? I just want to clarify that the role of the school in the reading plan. Any other supporting from YW??

My elder son is studying in YW P2, who had read 16 books (Chinese and English) within the CNY holiday, it was due to the reading plan from school.
Do U think it is enough?

My wild guess is that fanwong29 thinks you are the Snoopy Headmistress disguised in a male BK name.

Hi, in my opinion, I don't think Mrs. Lam will have such time. Actually, I also want to clarify the spelling of YW to you last time.

Pls note that YW puts lots of effort in advocate reading habit. Students could borrow books at school library and classroom.

Both, from school library & public library. My son always borrow lot of books form school library actually, and penalty for late return, haha!

My son is also accepdted by YW. I have strong confidence in 林校長 but any comment on the secondary school?

BTW, I have never seen the principal of secondary school show up in the briefing session. 林校長 also seldom mention the linkage between primary school and secondary schools. Can anyone give advice?

每年個主題既其中一部份攞分/獎既,都係要睇好多書,記錄低,同埋要做指定數量既閱讀報告.
有中,英文兩樣既圖書堂,要佢地睇書.
除左圖書館可以借書之外,每個班房入面都有個書櫃,有時間就又要佢地睇書.

課外活動就要睇下你參加邊D囉,如果參加得多,就用錢多,如果一樣都唔參加,咁就唔洗俾課外活動既錢啦.

唔好諗住個囝入左英華就識閱讀,學校當然有責任培養他們的閱讀興趣,(學校也的確如此)但最大的影響力是父母,之前看過一本書講到,閱讀的習慣是8歲前培養的,8歲以後巳經是很難培養了,如果入學時巳經是6歲,以短短2年的時間未必能培養他們閱讀的興趣,所以更忙都要帶孩子去圖書館呀!買書給他們!
想當年我們很努力去豐富學校的英語閣,班圖書館,我想那圖書量可應算是全港之冠,盼望大家努力去培養新一代的讀書人!

老公是英華書院畢業. 佢唔想啊仔讀返英華, 因為佢話讀男校好慘, 唔識同女仔溝通.

而且當年英華書院是用英文課本, 廣東話授課.....依家就唔知啦!
