我仔仔今日去 york interview, 有個簡介會, 講到幾好, 佢地對教英文幾認真, 只係我 yim 校舍比較舊, 某 d 遊樂設施真係好舊 & 用鐵造.

我的小朋友今年在york讀緊k3,讀左幾年,我覺得york是一所幾好的學校,課程有系統(每月都會有進度表,給家長知將會教D乜),老師和教職員對學生好好,公開試成績好(Jet set、劍英),又多課外活動玩,至於校舍,我覺得內函重於包裝囉！老實說,上學得3小時,其他時間就要家長的幫忙啦！如跟足進度表溫,包你們有得

至於升小學,我仔今年要考啦！但結果未知。

My kid is also in their K3.

I suppose the school is overall can be considered 'good' despite some people may find it too 'commercial'.

English is their focus which is quite high in standard if compare with other ordinary non-Kowloon Tong Kindies.  Chinese is also difficult, but it is not their focus.

My daughter had attempted two Primary schools so far i.e. International Christian Quality Music & Gifted Talent.  Both schools accepted my kid.  Please note that, in the school's internal examination, my daughter had even got 'no ranking'!! (only those within 1-10 has ranking)  In this sense, I believe their academic standard is quite high!!

我想問K1-K3是否有好多工課做嗎, 是否每天都要做功課, 我仔仔比較耗動坐唔定, 如果每日都有好多功課我怕我小朋友唔識合, 但我仔仔現在對英文興趣非常大, 而且現在英文都較好, 我都唔知點選擇好, 請各位媽咪比比意見

我想問, 你女女考到優才 & 邊一間呀?

去完 york interview, 我唔覺佢 commercial 我反而覺得我仔仔而家讀緊既德寶仲 commercial.....

york 既校長園長都幾有份量 (成熟 & 好有經驗) 其他老師都唔係岩岩初出矛爐既老師, 呢一點令我有驚喜, 但唔知點解, 我同親 d friend 講我 apply 左 york, 佢地既回應都唔好.令我有點矛盾囉.....唔知點解 york比人有唔好既感覺.....係咪佢既行政問題呢??

係呀, 其他的都係枱面有乜問乜, 一張大枱就in 幾個小朋友,唔似york咁一張枱in 一個小朋友.

I have the same questions..when I told my friends and colleagues that I would like to apply XX, XX, XX and York..then, almost all of their comments are that those previous 3 should be much better than York...I don't know why??

any comments or opinions from other mamas??

Dear mamis,
York has accepted my son but I am still thinking about the admission. My friends said other kinders seems to have better comments and york accepted all the kids.

學費唔算貴. 不過茶點費每月好似成三百. 另有雜費. 要交十一期. 其實成年計開就可能同其他每月學費貴但無雜費的學校係差唔多. 因為有d只交十期.

My kid is also attend in K3.
York is a good kindergarten and the school fee is not expensive in Kowloon Tong area.
The cost is around HKD 2xxx. Now, we have a Pre-primary Education Voucher Scheme. So it’s quite reasonable.
No misc. fee, only refreshment fee.
In York, there are many courses that you can take them by yourself, such as Pre-Starter, Jet Set, Sat 10, Cambridge and other extracurricular activities.
This is not compulsorily.

In addition, the English is a focus point in York. Also, they have a Chinese and Mandarin.
The Chinese words are also difficult.
York will provide a checklist in every week which to parents for information.
Parents can use this checklist to look through with your kids.
