Your husband really has his character.
Anyway, I think that he should listen to you and wear suit and tie. At least not a pair of jeans. However, please let us know if your daughter got admitted. This way, we may then know only good grades and performance of children count.

其實我兩老公都係志在參與，所以我都冇迫我老公，我個女有至少兩個同學都有去考，各人都有唔同o既背景，到時睇下收邊個!

七、八年前我都有帶阿大去in過，印象中好似校長無出來，依家諗番轉頭，個校長可能俾我家大少眼甘甘望到唔好意思出來也未定。結果阿大都收到信，內容是多謝來in之類。

眼甘甘望住校長唔收，比人望多兩望而覺週身唔自在又唔收，看來 in DGJS真不簡單。

every kid is asked more less than same questions & those questions actually can not represent anything.   I do believe : the 5pages resumes with information of family background + awards/cert + which kinder + school result is quite important.  it almost ranks the priority of our kids & decision to be finalized by the day's performance of our kids + parents.
ONLY MY GUESS.....

我囡囡尋日都見左喇, 問既問題都係大同小異. 我地係出面等既時候, 見之前兩個女仔出黎校長都無拖佢地隻手, 亦無望佢地既父母就直接叫跟住兩個女仔入去.

到我囡囡同另一個女仔出黎亦無拖佢地隻手. so 我覺得拖唔拖手 or 望唔望父母並唔代表有什麼特別囉.......... 我又唔覺得校長金晴火眼望人喎, 反而覺得佢幾nice.

Anyway, 見左就算, 唔諗咁多.........21/12就有結果.

有d瘀皮，擒日我以為bbqueen問我野，咁我就reply俾佢，點知後來發覺係問緊人地先啱，但我o既reply又show左出黎，咁我唯有delete左reply的內容，改做"答錯線添"....

You were not 答錯線. bbqueen meant to ask you not me. It's your daughter who went to DGJS interview.
By the way, not all applicants have the chance to leave the interview room with the principal. If the principal holds the hand of applicant and meets with her parents, the chance of that applicant is higher. Therefore, the father plays an important role.

囡囡話一入到校長室, 校長叫佢地兩個女仔搓"包剪搥",win果個可以選擇"看圖書"或"講野". 我個女話佢win左,揀左看圖書.

I don't agree, I would say it's equally important.  If a school has choice, which one does not pick kids with a better support and resource from home.

Considering this school is so competitive and high standard, ensure a good support from home is important.

朋友的女是讀" 基督堂",成績中上,  原本都十拿九穩, 但都落選, family background 一般中上,父: 公司管理層,  母: 家庭主婦. 但另外一位成績較遜色的同學 就OK入到, 因父母 background好, 一個係教授, 一個係專業人士.

我遲d話比大家知喇.........

我朋友個朋友個女係CCKG讀書, 佢一家係大家口中既有錢人, 家住九龍塘高貴地段, 媽媽係DGS old girl + MBA holder (now is a housewife). 條件附合曬大家口中所講DGJS既criteria, 睇下到時佢入唔入到喇. (我覺得90%入到)~~~~

據我所知CCKG的評估是無名次的，亦無考試，老師亦不會對家長說小朋友的真正排名，怎比較是中上or中中呢？況且去年差不多有80%入到DGJC，各類家庭背景都有，當然至少都屬中產，不能一概而論！
