Re: 小 學 咪 催 谷
Judy,
What you have said before really hurt my feelings and some of those who had walked the same path as I did, I am trying to bring out a point is that those study in famous prim. and second. schools and eventually graduated from HKU are those who adapt well to local education system and at the same time smart too and I have not a bit of disrespect to them. (Are you one of them?)
Those who may be smart but cannot fit into local system, somehow manage to survive under a different education system (one example is to study abroad) and did well. They also need to be given credit. I must say there are some who did not fare well even went studying abroad but from what I had observed, this is certainly not the majority case.
Some of your words which you may think is funny or humorous may appers to be piercing and mean to others. "Insulting" is actually what I really felt in my heart after reading your thread and I have no intention to hide it. I would appreciate that while being humorous, selection of words is also important.
Knowing that this is your style, I have no hard feelings or may I say I was amused sometimes in having discussion with you since you have some unique views although I don't agree with you all the time, but discussion should be under a mutual respecting basis, correct?
Wunma,
I have just joined the 40's category. You are correct that if you cannot get in Univ. in HK nowadays, there is slight chance to succeed anywhere else since there are so many Univ. to choose in HK and the admission standard has lowered significantly compare to our time. |
