SPCPS has started a meaningful activities since 2008 naming"Paul's Action". Sort of "Love Your Country plus Good Christian" activity, which is a 3 days' visit to mainland for P5 student.
The Principal accompanies the boys every year, of course, parents can opt their boys staying behind. The school does have alternative arrangement for those boys, including cleaning the bathroom to earn points to buy lunch.

By the way, long traveling time is no good for boys especially there are many ECA being organized by the school. They are more or less requiring to stay some hours after the normal school hours. The maximum number of ECA for some of the boys could be 6.
I recalled during sometime in P5 and P6, my boy needed to stay behind 3 weekdays for ECA & plus the Saturday's morning for football.
By the way, my cousin's boy, or my boy's cousin, is also student both of SPCPS and SPC, and he lives in NorthWest of NT. I just don't know how the boy manages those long trips in the last 9 years, super kid. |
